Here, as I read I come across this almost unbelievable comment, to which is yours Thompson. 51, if I wasn’t a believer in Jesus Christ and God our Father; I would be commenting to say you’re full of pookie, no lie!!! I pray to the Good Lord above for Him to bless me with a IMPECCABLE beauty such as your own (in my own way of course). Not trying to look just like you, I just want to "look just like you." Ya know what I’m saying!? You’re effortlessly ageless Darling. I had to say a little somethin’ somethin’, just encase you were not made aware, or haven’t been made aware!! Once again, I’m not creeping, I’m not peeping, I’m not trolling and I’m not judging. I’m full heartedly admiring and complimenting you, Ms. Thompson. 🌸🙏🏽 Take care. God Bless!

Let me tell you something... I'm 25 yrs old and could never cornrow anyone's hair, let alone my own. I have hairstylists in my family that have tried teaching me and nothing! I've watched countless KZbin videos trying to learn and I just couldn't get it, so I gave up. Just thought that it wasn't meant for me to learn. Then your video popped up on my feed the other night so I watched it and saved it. The next day I washed my 5year old daughter's hair, played your video, and followed along. And I DID IT!!! I actually managed to get four cornrows on her head. I nearly cried because I could only do boxbraids before and now the possibilities are just endless. To be honest, not being to cornrow made me feel like less of woman 😔 but the way you explained and demonstrated it was so clear. Girl!!! This video is so detailed and just makes so much more sense than a lot of the videos that I have been watching, I feel like this is truly for beginners. I literally started balling out crying because I was having such a hard time figuring out how to get comfortable doing a cornrow, although i'm not the best YET I'm getting there and I have to thank you for that. I have been looking at videos attempting to learn flat twisting, and almost lost my mind. When I came across your video, I watched one time and understood the concept. Afterwards, I tried it on my hair and it WORKED! I am not interested in learning how to flat twist now. I will use your technique to cornrow my hair and save my sanity. THANK GOD for a SISTER for teaching me how to cornrow. I SuBSCRIBED immediately and will be following you from this day forward. THANK GOD! THANK GOD! someone who knows how to speak, teach and show the technique on the camera. You saved my SANITY. BLESS YOU, Your mother, father, family and whoever gave you life. AMERICA NEEDS YOU!

I cried so many times while attempting this. Any type of braid attached to the scalp is so difficult and stressful for me.

Thank you so much for this video. I've watched so many videos on cornrowing but yours is the most thorough about finger placement and overall technique. I've got a lot to relearn about how I braid in general to be able to use your technique, but I feel it's worth it to learn how to cornrow.
