Plus just because he's injured doesn't mean you can't use him in other ways, WWE uses this philosophy well with wrestlers who are injured being present as managers, etc. If I give a wrestler a six figures contract, I'm using him for every penny he's worth.

Huge Yakuza/Like a Dragon fan here, played almost all of them, and it's really exciting to see Samoa Joe in the trailer. Yakuza has a history of having wrestlers from New Japan make cameos in their games but it was almost always for side content in the series so it's even more exciting to see an American wrestler like Samoa Joe potentially in a main plot role in a franchise known for its incredible character performances. I think the only downside is that most fans of the series still play in Japanese despite English being added in many of the recent entries (a lot of characters got horrible English VA casting), so most of us will get a dubbed over Joe on a first playthrough. Side fun fact, Okada was featured in Yakuza 6 as the main antagonist to the Clan Creator side mode along with 5 other NJPW wrestlers including Tetusya Naito. They all seemingly kept their wrestling gimmicks as well, so Okada would do his Rainmaker pose and money would just inexplicably fall around him in game. And if you've ever seen the meme "What is Yakuza even about" it's usually in relation to the side content being vastly different in its tone and content than the main plot, but this game is the first main plot that even has fans asking "Why is my Japanese Gangster a pirate in Hawaii, what is Yakuza even about anymore" (I think we're all still hyped for a Pirate Majima game tho)

The Miro situation is a sad one, albeit he cannot deny his own wrongdoing and mismanagement in the process. He has been allegedly hard to work with, avoided working for his Twitch channel, got divorced, went back to Bulgaria for personal reasons, and many other things in addition to some poor booking on AEW's part. To me, it seems like AEW and its fans were hyped to have Miro, but the initial gimmick of "The Best Man" didn't go over well at all. However, The Redeemer gimmick was fantastic, and I think fans were in love with it, as he did seem like he was in his element. Sadly, though, personal stuff started happening, including injuries, lack of direction, and ultimately his martial strife and divorce, which was even evident on AEW television. I understand that we are upset by how poorly Miro was used in AEW (And honestly in WWE, too), but I think the common denominator here is Miro/Rusev. I would honestly be surprised if WWE gives him another shot, considering they had issues with him and AEW did, too. Maybe a TNA run could help rebuild him, but I'm kind of afraid he might be directionless moving forward as a wrestler.

AEW has become what they said was the worst part of the WWE, talent not getting air/ring time. They just signed almost everyone who was let go by the WWE and now most of those folks sit on the sidelines again, not getting tv/ring time. AEW is not a wrestling program run correctly. If Rusev comes back, I could totally see him running through the Bloodline to get to Cody or have a great match Vs Gunther.

@@vb2806 Cody needs a massive heel to challenge him. Solo isn’t that guy. Solo hasn’t found his gimmick yet IMO. Being discount Umaga and Roman isn’t him. It’s him basically cosplaying people. It’s hard to take that seriously.Frankly, I’m tired of the Bloodline. Jacob is impressive, but Cody has feuded with the BL since he returned. It’s getting old. There’s just not many top heels for Cody to feud with.

@@ITSHIM1294 As I said he’d fight them just to get to Cody. They’d be in his way. They aren’t his actual target, but since The Bloodline/Cody feud just won’t ever stop, he’ll need to get rid of them first. Bloodline is getting to be like late NWO. Rusev could end that storyline before Jacob makes Wolfpack Bloodline with Corbin and Apollo. Lol I just don’t see the Bloodline getting over without Roman. It’d also build Rusev up to face Cody. Cody needs a top heel opponent and to get away from the BL. Love the previous BL, but it’s beating a dead horse now.
