The Miroku and Japanese Brownings are almost identical, with slightly different stock dimensions, the Mk60 (6000) is fixed coke quarter and three quarters, the 525 ,Mk 70 (7000) are invector choked, the epic Mk 38 is a fixed choke trap gun and Teague choked sported. All guns currently come in grade 1 and grade 5 , in the past also grade 3 was a good option. They are NOT the Corsa of the gun world more Golf GTI I would think , the are great guns

Vectra maybe, but golly GTI is a stretch.

Great review and very nicely presented. I have literally just bought the predecessor to this MK70, a very nice starter 7000 multi-choke 28" and will use it for the first time tomorrow. I quite like how the Miroku fits me, Im a short 5' 5" and I like it. The MK70 may very well be on my radar in the future. Many Thanks.

Hi Lloyd, so pleased you covered the locking mech of the miroku, I have a Browning B25 and find myself intrigued by the trap door every time I clean it! Sad I know but still in awe of how tight it all fits together! A friend had the Miroku and had nothing but issues with the recoil not setting his second shot so he traded it in for a silver pigeon. Thanks for another great video! Keep'm coming!

Very rare to have an issue with Miroku ..... it's possible !! They are very good quality and never brake down! I have known a few mates and all say the same !! It's like a howa , their accuracy is amazing for their price point ! Japanese quality is very good !

Thanks for the review mate. I bought an MK 70 nearly a year ago as my first ever shotgun. I find it quite nice to shoot however I haven’t shot much else. In Australia this gun cost $1800 when I bought it in early 2018. Shop guy recommended it and I knew nothing about guns so I just bought it😂. I DO NOT regret the purchase though.

Yes! So glad you talked about the mechanics of the lockup. I would not buy this gun as I think you personally sold me on getting the Caeser Guerini Invictus. Always enjoy your over-under shotgun reviews. Good on you for owning a Krieghoff and past owning a Blaser. Also great reviews. Thanks Lloyd

Thanks Lloyd, this has been a very interesting video as I have been up to Bywell today and bought the very same MK70 . I recognised the small mark on the stock. Going back tomorrow to try it out. Thanks again for all your videos.

Thanks Lloyd, any chance on a review of the Browning b525 sporter? Your videos are much appreciated.
@lloydyp7 жыл бұрын
Funnily enough I could have done a 525 next but they are essentially the same gun so it didn’t seem worthwhile.

Lloyd Pattison.. my thoughts as well, just bought a 525 myself. Nice to have positive review of a Browning/Miroku. Thanks again...
@1valg7 жыл бұрын
Yes, basically the same gun. Main difference is the stock. The newer Brownings have less drop and a slightly thicker comb. They also have the inflex recoil pad, which is available in 3 lengths. Furthermore, 2 spacers are available, one 7 mm and a 12 mm. With this "system" you can lenghten or shorten your LOP yourself. Just remember longer/shorter screws :-)

Hi Lloyd, the nem 525 Sporter One have a substantial difference in handling. Despite 525 Sporter ONE barrels have 3" chambers they are now lighter than previous barrels, the stock is longer and higher, have better trigger pulls (more crisp), and is a softer shooting gun than the MK70 Sporter or the MK38 Sporter. The 525 Sporter ONE 32" barrels weighs about 1520 gr (with factory flush chokes)). MK38 Sporter 30" barrels weighs about 1600 gr. Measured the bores on two different guns 525 ONE 32" and the two guns have 18,65 mm in the upper barrels. They are now a little tighter than the announced browning/miroku back-bored standart bores (18,70mm to 18,88 mm).

I never buy anything on the spur of the moment. I watched this and others reviews plus I used them as loaners at my local clay shoot. I've just bought a mk 70 in grade 5 and I would say all in all its better than a 687 EELL !

I saw after shooting you took the shells manually, but I notice mk70 has EJECTORS, what happened ?
@lloydyp5 жыл бұрын
No, you see me catching them as the ejectors fire, watch a few other episodes, I always do it.
