Epic! I think we’re all hoping for an MK11 Sporter that’s a little higher in the comb and all scroll engraving. I’d keep the solid ribs though, gives me an excuse to miss and looks prettier 😉

I had one of the 1st Mk11’s 30” barrels when bought out it took me about a few months too really gel with it I also found that when I put two certain make cartridges through it found with one it kept putting the auto safety on and another would not go too straight too the next barrel I swapped chokes see if that was the issue but still same. Tried another brand cartridge never been an issue so maybe cartridge specific I don’t know, but love the gun it’s a keeper too be passed on too my grandson, I like the game scene engraving but each too their own. Wholeheartedly agree the choke key is a joke and considering the price anyway nice review Lloyd spot on and Mr John Henry with you

Great video I've got 3 berettas and a mk11 and the mk11 is sure hard to beat in terms of the way it shoots and the level of fit and finish, beretta could do with taking note of the way mirouki finish their guns

Very different to the MK11 Upland I bought here in Australia roughly 4 years ago. Also different to the ones currently being sold here. It seems they have different grades and styles for different countries.

I was recently in the market for a new gun and one of these was very high on my list. I ended up with a Chapuis C135 Super Orion with all acanthus scroll engraving. I absolutely love it. Even though the MK11 is shallower in the action than some I found the even shallower round action of the Chapuis aesthetically more pleasing and it is a dream to shoot. I know you gave a quick review on one once but would love to see an in depth review from you on one.

Thanks for all the videos. Question, why do I not see Browning or Miruko used in ISSF or Olympic trap ? I really don’t know.
@MR12GAUGE2 жыл бұрын
Perazzi/beretta dt range, krieghoff blaser etc are targeted at the high end comp shooter sales market, as part of that marketing they offer custom fitting, the support, merchandise and in lots of cases some very nice sponsorship deals, that's not to say you couldn't get a miroku/browning to a gold medal- they constantly win sporting clays championships, they just aren't marketed the same way so their presence at olympics isn't needed from a marketing view, that is the main reason, the so called benefits of a 14,000 pound high tech over a gun like a browning pro sport are few and far between
@patricksmith75742 жыл бұрын
@@MR12GAUGE Thank you for the reply, I personally have two brownings and really like them. I would be nice to see them bump it up a notch or two and get on the world stage and get the recognition they deserve. May club is full of people with the higher end stuff that can’t stop taking about awesome they are and point out their gun wins championships. Fortunately I can remind them the gun is gun but they suck at shooting it.
@MR12GAUGE2 жыл бұрын
@@patricksmith7574 yes i see people like that every week, i doubt browning will make a push to market their guns in that way as they already have large chunk of market, i just think its funny when some gronk says things like oh my perazzi/dt11 has this or that and was at olympics then he gets it handed to him by guys using guns like a yildiz pro, 525, its just 2 steel tubes its the person behind it

* As a bird hunter, I do enjoy game scenes engraved on my guns, if nicely done. Gives me something to remind me of why I'm out there,especially if the birds aren't flying. For a hunting gun, I much prefer double triggers with more drop than a target gun. For a hunting gun, a solid rib is easier to keep clean than a ventilated rib. A pound or so lighter would be nice for a hunting gun. It sure is apparent how much the target crowd has influenced the gun manufactures. To bad these manufacturers don't offer options for the real bird hunters that are still in existence. I guess the demand for specialized hunting guns is not a profitable endeavor.
