Miroku MK38 are the understated shooters gun. They got the basics right all those years ago. A simple, no frills gun that handles superbly and will last forever. What more could you want?

The fixed 38 is a great gun- for the same reason i love the older miroku range late 60s-early90s, handle like nothing else, i'll take a good cond 70s miroku over any new gun

I shoot with one from 71. Don’t even know the model. Perfect wood and condition in general. Besides fixed chokes. But also has next to the firing pin two holes, one on each side. Don’t know why and never saw before. But they are great !

@@weirdbutwonderful4d804 excellent quality guns, sadly they started to cut corners after browning jumoed in amd slowly became what is todays versions. The holes are for removing the bushing to access firing pins- disc set strikers

You state the comb is higher on the Mk38 than the 70 but on the Miroku website it states the opposite (drop at comb is 3mm lower). Are you wrong or is the website wrong? I’d be interested to hear your comments as I’d be interested in buying a Mk38 if higher in comb than the 70.
