Mirror Finish RUSTED AXE. TOO MUCH WORK Restoration Found in Trash

Restoration of a rusted vintage Fulton Axe that I found in the trash (a dumpster). If you like axe restoration videos you have landed at the right place. Let me know down in the comments what you think of this old axe restore.
ABOUT THE TOOL
Fulton axe’s are from a quality tool company that was started in the early 1900s or before (If you have any info on this axe please leave in the comments…thanks) This old axe made for an AWESOME RESTORATION!
THE RESTORATION PROCESS
I started this rusted axe restoration by removing the remaining pieces of the handle that was left.
Then I cleaned the axe with solution before putting it into the blasting cabinet. From there I removed the rust using the sand blasting cabinet.
Once the rust was mostly removed I began to grind out the pitting by using a die grinder and angle grinder. Once the heavy pitting was close to gone I then proceeded with 320 to 1500 grit sand paper to give it that mirror finish that we all like! :)
I painted the bottom of the axe to give it a nice contrasting look. I put a couple of coats of paint on.
After the axe handle was fit, we cut a wedge and applied boiled linseed oil to the handle top and to the wedge. The linseed oil will cause the cells of the wood to expand and then to not dry out (unlike water).
I then sanded the handle down and coated the handle with linseed oil as well.
The axe was sharpened, starting with a file and then finishing with a puck stone sharpener.
