@@somerandomguy7458 this is Lake Placid, NY - Mirror Lake, not California. It is an amazing little town where 2 winter Olympics were held and home to an Olympic training center. Recommend anyone visit this beautiful area. It really is special.

I was watching to see if the water ever got warm enough to swim in, and although I couldn't confirm if anyone did it, I see by another comment that it can be done by about June.

Yes, people typically start swimming sometime in June when the water temperature hits around 60 degrees.
