Edit: at 2:31, I meant 'while jumping'. You can't do an extended wallclimb without jumping. Sorry for the confusion.

The orange ones aren't from the game but from other people. Blue ones don't require any special glitch moves. Only good movement and fastest path possible

Time trials from devs (since they removed online now) are actually not that hard. They're more about finding weird paths around city and less about abusing glitches.

6:21 There is also a way to climb even higher. After you've done the inner corner double wallclimb, you can quickturn and jump again to grab an even higher ledge. I made a time trial near the safe house at Regatta Bay showcasing that trick. Feel free to try it if it shows up in your game! It's called Advanced Moves.

In the first game the coil jump felt absolutely necessary in some places. I barely used it in Catalyst, and I three starred all the dashes. Catalyst felt much more forgiving, and I'm glad for that. Some of those time trials in the first game were torture.

I've played Mirror's Edge since I were a child/when it came out and I am just now trying my hand at speed running. The controls for Catalyst are so much smoother but they feel "heavier" to me if that makes me sense? Maybe it is the controllers vibrations but falling in the game is scary af! I have yet to start my speed running on this one but I appreciate videos like this so much! I play the first game as I did when I was young so I figured it was about time to step it up since I have my own gaming channel now🥰🥰 I will play Mirror's Edge until I can't anymore but Catalyst will take me some more time haha 🥲

+Night_wolf Gaming While climbing, try pressing quickturn first and move your mouse to the right at (almost) the same time. Don't jump while climbing. Increasing the mouse speed in the game settings should help.
