I don’t usually write comments like this however I feel that it is necessary to tell you how grateful I am to you and your art. As a young artist, I have a habit of comparing myself to others and getting disheartened and lacking motivation. I only recently discovered your channel and find it very inspiring and motivational. I have felt quite put off on drawing recently and your channel has inspired me to start again. I hope to, one day, be as incredible an artist as you and I just wanted to thank you for, well, being my role model (sorry if that seems a bit weird). Love the channel and hope that you continue creating amazing art.

Greetings from Ireland everyone, in relation to your statement I agree, and think every artist or budding artist goes through this. Through our quest for "perfection", we are learning & creating so it's a win win. If we pay attention I believe, and try listening to the best, we can then hone our craft to whatever we wish. Good luck with your artistry, I too am returning to pencil. Wish me luck, and of course thank you Misako for sharing and reigniting my love of art. 😉

Skin is translucent, so it naturally shows glimpses of the flesh, nerves and blood underneath, we just don’t think about it. What she did was set all the color that is hidden before bringing the “skin” onto it and that’s why it looks so vivid.

I'm over 40 years old and this is the first time I've seen how a painting is made with this technique. At first I thought, astonished, "everything is going to go wrong". After I saw layer by layer being put on, the tears started to fall. Is it normal to cry over something like this? Despite my name being in honor of a famous Brazilian painter, I didn't inherit the talent, but the art of painting moves me as few things in the world are capable of doing. Thanks so much for the video. I subscribed and will come back more often to see your exhibitions

It would appear that your approach was to begin with an underpainting of cooler colors to reflect the cooler tones buried in skin then you slowly built up to warmer colors and highlights in order to denote the flow of blood, and suggest the illusion of youthful light in the face of your young man. I would also surmise you were inspired to take an impressionistic approach to your mark making so that the final piece had contrasting beautiful "brush strokes" like with Renoir and Van Gough. Especially below the left eye and in the area near the cheekbone. I was absolutely rapt throughout. Stunningly beautiful and a lovely ode to the world of the great masters. Thank you so much for sharing it. 😁

I used to think oil pastels can't make beautiful art because its hard to control and its messy but this just changed and blew my mind. Your oil pastels process videos are amazing (everything is amazing honestly). Thank you for sharing them with us, I never really saw any artist make beautiful art with oil pastels. I'm curious on how you picked this medium and studied it because it is not usually popular with artists but you made amazing art with it. And at first glance I thought you were using oil painting. Thank you once again ^^
I love watching you lay down colours and to think they can’t possibly be correct for the subject and then to be proven absolutely wrong.

I don't know why I'm feeling so enchanted while watching this, having tears in my eyes. To me what makes a human, human is his ability to distinguish between beauty and crudeness. All the art, literature, the man-made beauty comes from this extraordinarily simple trait. A true artist is the epitome of humanity. Not an artist, but loved this piece. The music in the background makes it mesmerizing. How lucky would be the person having this genuine piece of art.

What I love the most is, you show how much dedication and work goes into a portrait, in instagram reels people see 7 seconds of a "process" and have therefore no true feeling for artistic WORK. It takes days... finding inspiration, starting, correcting, searching, immersing and not giving up. Your videos show the beauty of making art and the lifestyle of an artist. Cheers from a fellow painter

It's like creating a person's inner self. I also draw pictures. But my paintings are dazzling. So I was looking for a beautiful painting. A picture that expresses what I can't draw. It's a little selfish wish. I am Japanese. I have visited many museums in Japan. I see pictures on SNS every day. and, I came across your picture today. i am impressed. your picture is Amazing.
