Misal Pav Recipe, How to make maharashtrian misalpav, Misal Pav is a popular Mumbai street
food made with Sprouts and topped with onions, tomatoes and farsan. Misal Pav is one of popular Maharashtian Breakfast, Brunch & Snack and most commonly eaten street food. Misal Pav is very popular in Kolhapur.
Ingredients:
For Misal Masala:
1/4 Cup Dry Coconut
5-7 Kashmiri Red Chillies
2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
2 tsp Sesame Seeds
1/4 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 Cinnamon Stick
10-12 Black Peppercorn
3 Green Cardamom
4-5 Cloves
1 Chopped Onion
5 Garlic Cloves
2 Ginger
Misal Rassa / Misal Tari:
5-7 tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
8-10 Curry Leaves
2 Chopped Onions
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
3 tbsp Misal Masala
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
1 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
3 Tomato
Salt to Taste
1/4 Cup Water
2.5 Cups Water
1-1/2 Cup Moth Sprouts
Fresh Coriander
Salt to Taste
For Serving:
Boiled Potatoes
Boiled Moth
Farsan
Chopped Onions
Chopped Tomatoes
Lemon Juice
Fresh Coriander
