Really... I was thinking: “If only he could do it properly, I can only imagine what it would have been like instead of the time it took to rev the engine”... And he really did at all times (don't forget the throttle). Incredible driving skill... Incredible aero, incredible brake, incredible weight, incredible car....😍
@ragweedmakesmesneeze6 ай бұрын
Real question for folks in this thread. What would have a non-fixed seat done to allow better heel toe shifting for Misha? It looked like to me that the real problem was the pedal position and box? It reminds me of current BRZ pedal situation. Brake too far from gas to rock his foot to blip, and not enough room on the right of the gas pedal for a wide swing of the heel. (I'm doing an endurance race this weekend, my first in a long time and I hope that the BMWs pedal situation is good for heel/toe)
@Henry.256 ай бұрын
@@ragweedmakesmesneeze yeah. The problem is the difference in the pedals heights, but If he could adjust the seat, he would be able to alleviate some of the discomfort from the position of his leg. Because Misha apparently doesn't have his foot supported by the heel, so his leg is unsupported, dangling, which is painful to maintain for long periods of time lol I would prefer to place my seat forward and have a place to “rest” my heel so that I could press the gas and brake without needing to move my heel out of place and then adjust my lumbar back, so I can have better arm space. Thus making a better position to drive for longer periods of time. I hope that makes sense, I don't know the correct terminology. Btw, I'm not a pilot or anything, so maybe everything that I said is completely wrong. 😅 And the only manual car I have has floor mounted pedals, so doing heel and toe is much easier.
