@2seepАй бұрын
@@shanebrownlee69it’s actually very reliable. It has 1 major faults. Which is the oil pump variable control solenoid getting stuck on the low pressure setting due to excess metal in the oil. Which would be caused by lack of maintenance. It’s a 60 dollar part that will oil starve your engine. The turbo seals blowing are caused by excessive crankcase pressure and or oil pressure inside the turbine housing. If the car is immediatey turned off after running it hard the oil will cook inside the turbine and create carbon deposits which will greatly increase the pressure inside blowing out the turbo seals. The excessive crankcase pressure is caused by the pcv valve forced shut due to boost in the intake manifold. The boost is greater than the crankcase pressure causing the oil to blow out the turbo seals as they are a weaker point. This is all preventable with maintence and an oil catch a with a breather. People say the vr30 is weak because they buy a used q50 with 3 previous owners for cheap. What do you expect will happen?😂 that thing has been beaten up and an addition of 10k mile oil changes on 0w20 which any person will tell you that is terrible on a boosted platform.

You also get different seats with power adjustable thigh and hip bolster support and manually extending leg supports. Automatics come with metal magnesium paddle shifters . All RWD sport models have staggered wheels, the rears are wider than the front from factory. Thank you for taking this one on, Misha! These were really special cars in their time, and not enough people caught onto them. The S model (specifically) was the true gem: it received the larger (nicer) wheels, larger front brakes with 4-pot calipers, and was available with a 6-spd manual like the one seen here. Base models received an adequate 5-spd auto; S models with the A/T received paddle shifters on the wheel. Regretfully, FPFQ caught up with them here in the 🇺🇸 , just as it did the 04-06 GTOs: “falling prices, falling quality”…what was once a car to be proud of, is now owned by some pretty terrible people. The average G35/G37 owner over here seldom respects the car, or the people around them. If you can find a well-maintained G37S sedan with low-ish miles, it’s a wonderful daily, or a sweetheart of a weekend car. ❤️ 🙌 🇯🇵
