@fabrb26 Жыл бұрын
To be fair, most of what can be done to close the gap is usually made by knowledgeable owners to narrow the gap. + as a personal experience, reinforcement at key point like good brand Gacchiri like Nagisa Auto, can do transcend the behavior of an EG which may not be as true in a EK/DC especially coupled with just a rear 22 ARB just kick understeer out the window.

It's always a pleasure to watch a properly built K series. I do especially love the N/A stuff just because i feel that's all you need on a FWD setup. Yea, a turbo K series can easily put out 400-500 horsepower but that's only good in a straight line on drag slicks.
@andruwmartinez4129 Жыл бұрын
The issue I see is that's a 10-12k usd engine to make less than 300whp. A cheap small turbo would've been making 300-350whp with just supporting fuel and been just as reliable for about 2-3k

EG , and DA integra's are my favorite chassis. owned both , and regret selling both. weren't even anything special , but so much fun to drive. and the K series is such a great platform to work off engine wise.

Biggest regret is selling my old DA6 about 15 years back - chassis was totally sorted, and really just needed the K-Swap to make into my dream car - funds weren't there at the time though! There's a few much slower and less skilled old Cadwell laps on my channel 😂

@@boma23 i had a 95 cx EG with D15B from a JDM Del Sol SIR i believe , was a later silver top single stage vtec . and EX trans and basic bolt ons , chipped p28 . id guess 2002/3 or so . think the G35 and Supercharged mini coopers just came out here in the US , and i was dogging on them . again , nothing too modified. but fun. and i had 2 DA's , 92 and 94 . 92 was auto , 94 was manual . an i shared an 86 integra with the dohc 1.6 that was fun. but nothing like the DA's . K swap in either is super fun , particularly if youd turbo them . i had to sell a few other cars too over time to gather $ , i feel you . i had a VH45de in an s13 240sx with a Z32 trans , really regret selling it . and a 240sx coupe with silvia conversion. im okay now. have a drift specific R32 , R33 GTR , and a pretty heavily modified YZ125 dirt bike . 2014 dodge charger R/T that's nicely packaged and performs well for what it is.

This EG may not be the fastest K series but watching Misha push it to it's limits is awesome. Squeezing every last bit from what it can do!

Thanks - this is what real hard graft returns in terms of personal reward and accomplishment. You know the car intimately, you picture every nut and bolt, you know the smell when it's happy, you picture the belts at work, the brake master cylinder doing its job, the header gaskets that you cut your finger tips on, the injectors.... and more.. You can picture it all at work under lap conditions like that. Thanks to the owner of this car, I'm super inspired to do a build and enjoy on another level as opposed to spend on a package and enjoy "transactionally". inspired to do it all, just to experience the same enjoyment as on this owner's face. PRICELESS!!!!

I love these videos where Misha is driving a properly sorted analogue car and locks on a target car and goes for it
