My daughter got e’coli and she was in hospital for over a week and she was so ill she was about 16 -17, that was about 20 years ago i was so scared for her I have never seen her so ill.

That's not true Elena... Beef tartare is completely safe to eat... hers might not have been good... in any case, eating tartare doesn't have to be risky nor unhealthy... However, I disagree with her on the fact that you should never eat raw beef abroad... you either can eat raw beef or you can't, it has nothing to do with being abroad...

Omg! Feel so bad for you, Misha! You poor thing. Food poisoning is no fun at all. I had it last year but thankfully no vomiting. I ate ice cream that was off due to the fridge being so old. I ended up having diarrhea and going back and forth to the toilet. But my mum helped me feel better by giving me a double bag of chamomile tea and some Imodium capsules and I was fine the next day

I feel like I'm experiancing PTSD from when I drank one shot literally and was sick till the next day I vomited all night time the point where my insides where shaking and I couldn't breath I ended up in the hospital they said I had a strong shot and i never ever drink brooo like ever and my system was shocked cuz i hadn't eaten anything

i tend to go to ibiza nearly every year unless my mum decides she wants a change, when i was in year 5 or 6 we had gone to ibiza for 2 weeks and i forget what i ate but my god i had never been so ill, we get home on a tuesday, i was in school on the wednesday and off on the thursday for 6 weeks with swine flu

Omg had a similar thing in Kavos! 😭😭😭 Stupidly chose Carbonara (which has raw egg in it) at this really cheap restaurant and got food poisoning and ended up being hospitalised on the strip lol and then had to pay €180 in medical bills all giggles xx sticking to the plainest foods abroad from now on fmlllll

I know this videos really old but it brought up some memories for me. I was in Bali with my family and it was going to be the day that we went on a drive to all these different villages and the monkey park. So every one else went down to the buffet for breakfast but I decided to stay in the room and get ready instead, so I ate an entire can of pringles instead. Then that day I had food poisoning, from pringles.... I vomited about 5 times throughout the day, including at the monkey park. Eventually I had to say mum we need to go back I feel like i’m dying. was the worst!

Last Christmas I got so sick, I was throwing up for hours and to the point I couldn't even drink water without throwing up (which is so bad when you have literally nothing inside of you), and I also got to the point where I was like I'm going to throw up my organs!? I went to Greece last summer and for the last 3 days we were there I was literally SO ill I spent my last day there in a restaurant (TMI) spewing out of both ends 😫😂 There wasn’t even a light in the toilet so my boyfriend had to come in the toilet with me holding up the torch on his phone, how embarrassing. I was spewing on the flight home and everything it was actually the worst.

Honestly, coke (like coca cola not the drug) is a lifesaver when you get food poisoning. Got food poisoning on the plane from something I ate before I got to the airport and I had a coke, mashed up banana and rice on the plane and subsequent week 😂

I've only had food poisoning once in my life and would not wish that upon anyone, it was the worst 22 hours of my life to date. Same thing happened to me, I was drinking (still on my first drink) threw up twice within half an hour, thought "hmm, that was weird, but I feel better now." Went back to my guests for maybe 5 minutes then went and threw up a third time - that's when my roommate came into the bathroom and asked me if I was okay, and I just looked at her and asked what time it was, she told me it was 9pm and I was like, "buddy I got food poisoning," (it was 3 hours after I had eaten). Then commenced the worst 22 hours of my life. Honestly don't know how I knew straight away, but I think 3 hours is normally when food poisoning starts to hit? idk lol my survival instincts kicked in or something lol
