Hey nice video and I'm about to try the Korean lever for the first time in my life, and absolutely agree with the last statement , you need to practice enough but at the same time look for something you are most comfortable with to create preference.

This video made me realize that if I train and lab out Tekken 7 while listening to GG music, I will perform a lot better!

I play 2D fighters and switching to a korean lever was the best decision I made. The JLF was too sensitive for me, it would give me random motion inputs when I would move my character around. Not only that, it's easier for me to do Behemoth Typhoons with Goldlewis Dickinson. You just need a low tension grommet at the 25 setting. I am using an IST Alpha 49S lever.

The weird thing is it that you're used to American arcade sticks it's probably similar although there's a lot of play

I never tried Japanese lever other than the very basic ones that's already installed on Hori sticks. Other than that, I replace them with Korean levers. Now I am curious about other Japanese levers. Do Japanese lever ever come with more tension like Koreans? If not, letting the lever go back to neutral require manual control instead of true let go, if doing wave dash fast?

I think some of the Hori sticks have Hayabusa levers instead of the standard Sanwa JLF-- the Fighting Edge I know have JLF's, but im not sure about the other ones As for tension variations, there are tension springs that you can switch out-- I'm currently using the Seimitsu EVO and that came with a standard spring, low tension and high tension springs. I'm currently using the high tension spring and it feels a lot better. The wavedash method is the same for both levers-- you let go to go back to neutral on both instances, but it's a bit slower for the Japanese levers since the tension won't pull it back to neutral as quickly.

I'm super late on this, but I've got a JLF that I use in my modded mayflash f300. I put a heavier spring in it and it returns to neutral great. I tried playing on my brother's unmodded quanba drone and all my inputs sucked after getting used to it lol

Korean lever all the way better than the Japanese stick and the best decision to switch because i think the sanwa jlf stick are not good for Tekken and i do better with a Korean lever with all my fighting games i play and the jlf delay to many make combos another movements .

Did u had to do any mods for fitting that 309 to the victrix FS?
@drop0ut6063 жыл бұрын
I don't know which 309 model he has but I have a 309MJ Helpme in my victrix and I didn't have to mod anything. The only thing about it is that you have to mount Crown levers in sideways, so make sure to put your cable harness on appropriately for that orientation. (Also "sideways" is just referring to the mounting plate. The lever itself has a square base so you don't have to worry about anything feeling off or different because the plate is sideways.

wavedash on pad is lowkey easier - less motion needed but yeah its quite painful for the thumb.
@bargenejourney9 ай бұрын
@@hiraprxc the problem is the reset u need to reset the grib after ever 20 backdashes or more your thumb will slip easily even if u use a dbutton seperated direction
