In todays upload we knock out alittle maintenance on the single cab and install a New Mishimoto Low Temp Thermostat in the 6.0

Deisels like running warm,mine has a low temp t stat and the head stays cool

Yea thats true but I know where the trucks temp used to normally run so i want to get it back close to that

Looks like your fan clutch is bad not kicking on to keep your coolant down. That's way too high at idle.

Nah it works. I thought it may have been that also but it engages like it should

Brother I think 200 at idle is a bit high. I usually hit that temp at highway speeds going uphill in mine. Truck sounds really nice I got an MBRP catback and doesnt sound as nice

yea I actually had just parked the truck so that temp was from driving, and Like I said the coolant level wasn't anywhere close to where it should have been so that had some effect on it as well. Thanks man, im actually running MBRP as well but just there full straight system with muffler delete

Pat, so what is the difference between your coolant temp and EOT? Does it ever get higher than 15*? I took a trip to Shreveport last weekend the highest spread between the two is 14*. Thanks

Normally there shouldn’t be more than a 10° difference between the two.
