It is easier to fool people than to convince people they have been fooled. :( Looking forward to the next episode.

Hey Healthcare triage, love your content. On the topic of misinformation and information, i'd love to get your tips on how to produce educational public health content. I have a degree in public health science and see a lot of gaps in the health literacy of my community and country, i'd love some tips. Most professionals in my area have not yet realised how to fully utilse new media.

I’m sure that taking enough whiskey and water would make you feel better. Similar note, hot blackcurrant and brandy works wonders on a cold. Got to be full sugar blackcurrant cordial mix 50:50 with brandy and top with hot water. Sip while hot!

if people have been doing it for so long, maybe they've had a good reason to.

I think a lot of these things you are talking about are disinformation rather than misinformation

He gave a disclaimer at the beginning of the video that he was going to just day misinformation for simplicity throughout the video....soooo....

as another commenter pointed out, he already made a caveat. But disinformation is hard to outright prove. All disinformation is misinformation but not all misinformation is disinformation. Proving malicious intent is hard. Hanlon's razor applies here.

Obviously,; but smart folk would rather risk their health in fifteen years than avoid the danger by dying now.

EMA: COVID-19 vaccines have been used in hundreds of millions of people around the world and are subject to intensive safety monitoring. Long-term safety data on COVID-19 vaccines are very reassuring. Data are available from studies in thousands of volunteers and from mass vaccination campaigns across the world over more than two years. Moreover, safety monitoring of vaccines shows that any side effect usually occurs within two months of vaccination. EMA and the EU Member States will continue to closely monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines in the long term.

there are legitimate reasons why some people can't/shouldn't be vaccinated such as immuno surpressed/people who are allergic to pollen eggs nuts etc. or previous dose of vaccine or who have religious objections are excused from being vaccinated

I don't think religious affiliation is a reason in, in of it itself a valid one. However I do believe that mandatory vaccination is unethical & immoral, even if you limit that collective to those whom are at least risk, any time a government forces a right off you, you'll never see that right again.

"such as immuno surpressed/people who are allergic to pollen eggs nuts etc" evident exceptions are evident. "or who have religious objections are excused from being vaccinated" no

There aren't as many vaccines immuno-suppressed people can't have. My husband has RA and he was able to get the shingles vaccine thanks to the newest form. Much appreciated cause the very fact someone is immuno-suppressed is why those vaccines are important for them.

I wouldn't oppose religious exemptions if they weren't abuse. Follow me: from the late 1940s until the late 1990s, demands for religious exemption were low. Than around 2000 they started going up... Nothing to do with the Wakefield paper? Right? So they are abused now as a way for anti-vax to get shit done. Not on true religious ground, but on a pretend basis. So screw that exception!
