RAAS makes complete sense. Especially when it's replacing hourly employees. It would work better for the slow restaurants if they could pay by the hour or even minute.

they can just learn new skills and move to another industries. AI is starting to steal many jobs so us humans have to adapt.. check dallee or midjourney for instance.. if I was digital artist, I’d be looking for a new gig in another sector asap

Trying to sell an item that does the same thing over and over and then trying to charge a monthly service in a SaaS model is absolutely idiotic. There are many many companies that could benefit from this technology, but not at the expense of thousands of dollars a month, month over month, for no real benefit of being a subscription based item.

No upfront costs with expensive equipment... No loser employee calling in sick last minute, emergency service and support available... For less than it would cost you for that loser employee. You get predictable results with less overhead and payroll taxes. Could be a very good investment with no long term overhead. Idk it doesn't seem all that bad, have you seen your average fast food employee that your business survives from? For a lower monthly cost basis, seems like it would be a net positive.

Anyone who doesn't think this is a good idea has never had a business that relies on unreliable employees. I believe the monthly cost includes paying for the robot/service and routine maintenance all for cheaper than 1 employee. It's a no brainer to me.
