None. I always seem to have issues following the instructions. I have color blind deficits all the way around. However, I can build. I am pretty sure you saw my massive jungle/waterfall/with backdrop build at BrickRodeo Austin two weeks ago.

I hope Lego doesn't stop using the original phase 2 helmet mold but does a mix of both because normal clones without any accessories look better with the old mold. The new mold looks kind of weird without the visor piece or antenna. They should only give the new mold to commanders, captains, sergeants and lieutenants. If they have a battle pack, they could give 2 troopers the original mold and 2 troopers the new mold, etc.

Yea I am torn about it. I think the new piece looks good for clones with a visor but not very good for the range finders.

I prefer the customization of the newer helmets I think they look perfectly fine too unless you really try and pick out the small details

All of the box art and images released are digital renders of the set/figures.. that’s why the printing doesn’t fully match what you see on the box

I'm really disappointed with the helmet printing on the 212 troopers. Lego star wars just can't seem to make the right decisions or care about their quality. But Lego quality control is regressing at a rapid pace and it's concerning. I don't believe these are misprint helmets at all; they just didn't care about accuracy or detail. Thank you for spotlighting this dilemma and I hope Lego will remedy this sad error.

Lego also forgot to add the orange around the 4 circles on the backs of the 212th troopers, unlike the live action 2014 212th troopers. Lego also forgot to add the blue on the backs of the 501 troopers, and the blue on the chest looks very bad. If only lego continued to use the peak live action printing for live action based sets instead of only using the clone wars design.

Most of the time that’s left off the clone wars animated designs and 2020 is a hybrid of realistic and animated so the back print is more like animated than realistic.

I think the new 212th minifigs are based off episode 3 and the older ones with the yellow arms are based off the animated show. The black series has the same thing where some clone troopers look more similar to the theatrical version and some look more like the animated show

I’m not a huge Star Wars person, so I’m not up on little details, but something you said near the beginning of the review jumped out at me, and now I’m curious: You said something like “we’ve been waiting for a Phase II Commander Cody for almost 20 years”. Is that literally true, or a misspeak? I’m not really up on all the Star Wars minutia, so maybe I just don’t understand, but it looks like the first appearance of phase II armor was 2011? So I’m guessing you misspoke, and people have only been waiting for a phase 2 Cody for 10 years? Or is there an earlier source? (videogame? book?)

Howdy! We first see Phase 2 Cody in ep 3 Revenge of the Sith which came out in 2005. (We do see him in the original clone wars animated show from that same year too) so it's been about 17ish years.

Essentially the character has been in the movies almost 20 years ago and Lego has never made a minifig of him so the fandom has been pressuring the Lego group to finally produce him and we're all pretty excited about it!
