I actually went up against a Doctor who had Merciless Storm and I learned something: If you are affected by his power, one of the effects is that skill checks occasionally go the opposite direction, and with Merciless Storm every one of those continuous skillchecks changed the direction of the skillcheck and location, making it basically impossible to hit all of them.

And then there's Coulrophobia + Unnerving Presence now for anti-healing, slows healing, makes the skill check fast, while the other makes them more frequent and with small success zones.. pair that with Sloppy Butcher and it's a nightmare to heal within his terror radius especially if the Doctor also runs perks that increases terror radius on smaller maps like Distressing.

FUN FACT: if scourge hook: pain resonance is activated while merciless storm is active, it will regress the gen and continue the skill checks for the remainder of the gen. This happens because scourge hook no longer kicks you off the gen when it explodes and the developers did code the perk to stop until the gen is completed or a skill check is missed.

I have to say, survivors often said it was "disgusting and annoying to play against" XD I'm so proud to have made a build so close to one of Otz's builds in his videos :D Love you Otz. You know what my favorite thing about this new big patch is? From my experiences the entire mood has shifted. All of my games win or lose have been way more positive, and also now people are coming up with builds like what Otz has done here! I guess the problem with this particular one is that it relies heavily on survivors missing skillchecks, so it's not really consistent. Still, seems very cool, I'll have to try it out

Heya Otz, I thought up a killer build I'd like to see you try. Scourge Hook: Monstrous Shrine - Survivors hooked on scourge hooks will progress 20% faster if the killer is not within 24 meters. Hex: Third Seal - After you hit each survivor once they well be unable to see auras (including the hooked survivor aura) Agitation/Iron Grasp/Mad Grit - Whichever perk you prefer to use to increase your odds of reaching a Scourge Hook. Free Slot - Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Whichever Carry perk you didn't pick, Hex: Undying, or a custom preference (I insist on using Shadowborn). The overall idea is that you use the Trapper or Twins to place a beartrap or Victor over your Hex: The Third Seal totem to guard it for as long as you can. Then hit everyone once, go for downs and start hooking survivors on scourge hooks. The Monstrous Shrine effect makes each sacrifice go from 2 minutes to 1 minute 36 seconds total. It might be a fun build to incorporate a Scourge Hook, Hex, and normal perks all into one build as killer.

Otz first I would like to thank you for all of the content you have provided me and many others with and helping me getting better In dbd as a killer, but since we are talking about killers I would like to propose a build that has definitely been though about and probably used, but will be better now since the new 6.1.0 patch. It's the ultimate m1 killers build, including in it: -Save the best for last -Bamboozle -Enduring -Brutal strength (or maybe fire up, but I would say brutal is better) I have thought about which killers could be the best with this build from the mostly only m1 killers and I have 3 suggestions: 1.Trapper with whatever add ons 2.Wraith with either speed add ons to move quickly around the map or with the "shadow dance" add ons to make it even more ridicules or even a combination of the purple "shadow dance" add on and the "The serpent "-soot one for a devastating combo. 3.Meyers with the Vanity mirror and the dead rabbit for a good combination of info and strength in chase. If you've read this thank you for doing so and can't wait for the next video to come out whenever it may be.

I actually made a impossible skillcheck build for doctor including Unnerving presence Overload Merciless storm Caulrophobia (Replaceable with Lullaby) Also the "Calm" addons which increase the Terrorradius if the static blast is up This was absolutly nuts! I got everybody injured and on small maps ( I played on Saloon which i would call average huge) its nearly impossbile to heal so they stayed injured to get at least 2 gens done by the time I killed off 2 people. I let the Claudette and Jake out and watched them healing either theireselfes or each other. Claudette needed whole 3 minutes to heal herself with selfcare cause medkit was already out of charges. Jake did 2 Generators in this time. It was hilarious! xD

I’ve had fun w a build with this same idea as artist. I have been using Tinkerer, Merciless Storm, DMS, and The third Seal but im sure that can be changed And I might try with Lullaby. My idea has been to use a bird with tinkerer and then by the time the cooldown is done and I am waking over I can send another bird to make them either injured for greeding or they let go and trigger Merciless and sometimes I can get the hit and down as well. It works very effectively and DMS makes it worse

Very nice OTZ once again you made another bad build that only works on bad survivors like the ones in this video. Me as a Freddy main will never use a build this useless on Freddy the only good perk in this build is Merciless Storm. I have never seen survivors fail so many skill checks in one match. No Toolboxes, no Prove Thy Self, No Off The Record, No Were Gonna Live Forever, not even a DS. This was nothing more than a pub stomp. @not Otzdarva Try this build: Eruption, Tinkerer, Overcharge, Call of Brine. This alleviates any totems being involved in your ability to guard gens effectively. It also creates a 400% regression rate with continuous notifications and a 10% extra regression if you leave a generator unattended to go and chase a survivor down and succeed in putting them into the dying state.

Impossible Skillchecks Freddy is my favorite Nightmare Build. But I haven’t tried it with Merciless Storm yet. I always used two dresses, Overcharge, Huntress Lullaby, Oppression and Pop… but now that Pop is nerfed and I have merciless on all killers due to Prestige, I might as well change it the next time I play Freddy. Once I rewatched a match from the perspective of a streamer I had killed. There was a point he missed an Overcharge skillcheck and hell, it regressed by A LOT.

Yeah they buffed overcharge and jolt. Jolt has no cooldown now and overcharge regresses the gen by 200% as well as adding the difficult skill check

So I’ve been playing a lot of Freddy with the yellow dress and brown shirt, but I’ve been running oppression, thrilling, merciless and overcharge, 3 layers of possible skillchecks and map control, although tinkerer is a good idea, I think the ability to postpone merciless as much as possible is more valuable
