If she were born as an ugliest woman in the world, but still has that kind of spectacular singing voice, she would still be able to earn a good living as a singer. Her singing voice is one of the most incredible singing voice I have ever heard. She should become a star in the very near future as an opera singer.

Actually, I was interested, if somebody here see‘s here performance in another way. For a non professional singer it was really, really good... but This is definitely not enough for being a professional operasinger. She would have to practice more here technique and actually also why the figure in the original is singing and what she’s singing, so that she can express Puccini’s colors better and doesn’t fail again with the emotions. Then her wonderful voice would also get more a natural vibrato. She failed really big two times, because she was out of breath. This is “Madame Butterfly”, so it takes like two hours and she would have to sing constant for over an hour as cio-Cio-San... a good voice is not enough, when It only last for the first act.

michael carbonaro she would need years to get the basics... studying classical singing takes 5 years and after that u should specialize yourself even more. But u shouldn’t forget that the students are better in singing than her, when they are coming to the auditions and get selected. To become a solid opera singer she probably need 8 years... and then u can see, if she really is as good as to get popular in the next 10 years after her graduation

As someone with some operatic training, who has sung with some really phenomenal singers, and who has seen Butterfly, that was horrible. She misses the very first note. She is singing a song that is WAYYYYYY too heavy for her. She is a soubrette, not a lyric soprano. Her voice was too thin. I think she also completely misses the dramatic intent of the song- Butterfly’s whole world is being taken from her at the end of this tragic opera. It was fine, but not professional operatic quality.

Maybe it’s not as professional as what you’re accustomed to, but a majority of general singers could not even *remotely* pull off that song as well as she did.
