Miss Christine GTOS *Magazine Collection* 1968-72

These are Miss Christine's favorite Magazine's that she picked up in LA, NY and the UK from 1968 to 1972. These Magazine's were found inside her yellow "Mandels" bag, a store she used to frequent in Hollywood back in the day. I looked through these Magazine's and found many awesome articles about Zappa, Burritos, Todd Rungren, GTOS, AliceC and more. These Magazine's are fully in tact and good condition. Also, in her bag was her favorite giant movie poster of "Beyond The Valley of the Dolls" that she watched over and over. Enjoy this simple look into what she liked.

Oh my soul. Perfect song to illustrate the feel of the time. I never knew Christine - i was so young. But beyond my love for Miss Pamela, i found Miss C (who's name i share) to be the most fascinating of her peers. So sad that she suffered so much, especially because of what she missed out on because of it. But she still managed to shine in her own unique way, blowing minds wherever she went. And here we are, looking through her things, getting a feel for what she dug. It's all frozen in time, and really should be made into a museum of sorts. So tragic a loss, but she left us such treasures. I have a thing for boots and magazines, and today saw a pair of her boots. How cruel is mortality, when you want to give someone a hug, and all that is left is dust and possessions.

That’s a very beautiful sentiment. Dust and boots. Ever since reading Pauline Butcher‘s from her time in the log cabin I think of Miss Christine from time to time and the sadness of her short life hits me.

Hi im a 1967 baby with silent gen not boomer mom like frank and moon moon got most of her comentariest side from her dad vally girl was big in my frechman year of high school in 82 and their were these two girls franny and desiree in my art class big class clowns and contrivirsial i took it all in also my biddy had the mothers freak out album so i heard that and i picked up the first alice cooper album aka the spiders so all together it acted as template and along with the one woman show lisa bevilacqua in sophmore year i made and created the first new metal band with my mate we still play i feel you guys and your counter part sisters the ace of cups from sf early riot girl but in delco pa outrageous girls are normal you guys also were from all over even before joan jett and her band it would be nice if the surviving band did a show pam is every where i still want to see the seeds doc hope this gets to you signed oldest x baby 67 next phaze last of the tv kids apoc bomb kids 1984 .
