If you lose a pageant, and the announcer accidentally crowns you the winner, correcting his mistake within seconds, you should still remain a co-Miss Universe?!!!! Really? The fact that Miss Colombia would want to share the crown simply because of a misread speaks volumes about her lack of integrity. I get that she's embarrassed and upset by the loss, but to want to win at all costs, even when she hasn't actually won, is a sad reflection of her character. There would have been no fairness for Miss Philippines, who won fair and square. This non-issue has become a great character study about self-entitlement and the inability to lose gracefully.

Perez Hilton stated in a radio interview that he noticed ms.Colombia diva attitude when she threw shade towards the interpreter coz he was being a bit slow in relaying her answers. The other 3 judges took note of this character flaw in her and all unanimously voted for ms.Philippines as the next ms.universe. The upside of this mishap is that ms.USA was spared from experiencing such an awkward and embarrassing moment of having the crown taken away just shy of 4 minutes after adorning it.

If Miss Columbia had took the situation in a more positive way, exit gracefully, not being selfish of pitying herself, everyone would have seen her good moral model of what a true beauty queen is. It takes a great character for someone who would come up to the real winner and hug her like sisters would do.
