Even after we got an automated food dispenser for our chubby cat she continued to put on weight. . . one day we discovered why.

@Popeye Unfortunately for Kitty, her one life will be very short and painful because of her obesity. She will suffer the same heart health problems, kidney failure, pancreatic cancer as well as osteoarthritis and hypertension caused by her excessive and uncontrolled eating as humans do. X-rays will give images of the results of her excessive weight, congestive heart failure will lead to pulmonary disfunction and death. The irresponsibly of the owners is shocking. Being the fattest cat on the block is no joking matter. Poor Kitty, R I P.

@Jericho Kilmanja Comrade, MBA idiots are the product of the system that is focused only on maximizing profits and minimizing looses: if peoples lives are cheaper than losses- they would waste lives. MBA degree is a product of that system. Fun part is that if you look through history-Hitler is the product of that system too funded by owners of monopolies like I.G.Farben and Krupp Group. Those oligarchs actually created a flame of the most severe war in human history. But at the very same time none of socialistic countries nuked other countries. That's why there is a solution: there is no cockroaches where they are not fed. But that system is very uncomfortable for oligarchs like Musk, Besos and so on. It is very uncomfortable for their handy-yes-men-politicans because in case of planned economy they had to do a real job. I've had enough when the only thing that was changing during years of my hard work was the wealth of business owner that did nothing in that place. The most disappointing part was everywhere is almost the same: but I was lucky to find out a small cooperative kind of company where we really got results of our work and we could really decided what to do in that place.

@fvnt0miix9532 жыл бұрын
@@Add_Account485 Well I’m not sure if she was “starving”, but if the puzzle feeder demands too much work, she would not eat from it even if it has food in it. So around her meal time, she would come in front of me, makes those horrible vomit noises which ends up in a small puddle of saliva or some hairball... basically she would rather not eat from it than work hard to get the food. It reminds me of my cat, Paige. We had to give her these little blue pills (I can't remember for what; infection, maybe). At first, we stuck them in soft treats, but he ate the treat and spit out the pill. Then we tossed them down his throat, massaging his throat to make him swallow (which he did - or at least did the movement), then checked his mouth to make sure the pill was gone - all clear. Until, about a week later, I'm vacuuming, so I move the recliner, and just behind it, hidden by that layer of material that hangs down at the back of the recliner (covering the machinery of the recliner) are a line up of little blue pills. He must of hidden the pill under his tongue or behind a back tooth, then, when we were no longer looking, came behind the recliner and spit it out where it would be hidden. I didn't know whether to be angry or proud, lol. Or stupid - two people outsmarted by a cat! 🤦♀️🐱

@@wvrjl I've experienced the same with my cats and we think we're smart! Our vet change prescription from pills to a chicken flavored liquid. That helped for a while when she wouldn't run from me, as I quickly gave in the little syrine. Now that she's feeling better, but still on the medication, she runs from me. Kitties are sweet, but a handful. It doesn't take but seconds to take the liquid, but she apparently thinks something terrible is going to happen. I still praise her and give her motivation, but never a dull moment with cats in the family.

I remember when I was a kid, me and a buddy found out that the flaps inside of a vending machine didn't fully close, and at first we could stick our hand into it and get chips or gum from the lowest row of the machine. Later, we took a custom-built stick with a V-metal fork tied on the end of it, to shove really deep up in there for the candy bars. Lifting the spinning spring allowed for the candy bars to slide out as many that could before falling flat. If any college students ever caught us, we'd offer to give them some candy to keep quiet about it.

Cats are smart, fat ones are smarter. I got my mom's cats hooked on Temptation snacks. We call it crack at home. My mom has to find new places to store it because they will watch her put it up, go over open the cupboard and tear it open at night. She tried getting the large plastic box size. They push it onto the floor so it grenades open.
