Another great good job not letting your mic throat fuck you. My major critique is that, I really don't see enough of your personality in this. As someone who constantly interacts with you twitter, I see your really upbeat, damn near frantically joyous attitude, and while I get the sense that you enjoy the anine, personally I'd like to see you put a bit more for of your excited personality in these, to make them just a bit more you. But good video as always, Kanna is my daughter, and Lucoa is my mom. Lewd dragon mom. :)

Brandon Garvin its funny that you say that because my friends who have seen my two vids say they don't recognize me. Have to work on that, thanks man so much for watching and the critique :)

This was a fantastic video. You did a good job of being able to discuss the themes and tone of Maidragon, particularly its more heartwarming and somber moments while retaining the feeling of those moments through use of music and visuals. I think it is ridiculous to think you only have 77 subs, glad that I was one of your first though. Can't wait to see what other videos you might make in the future.

This made me tear up all over again. Thanks for the video. :) Btw, the quote @ 4:15 does not go "she doesn't have to go, but she ought to go". (Doesn't really make sense anyways, since those two don't differ in meaning.} The quote actually goes "she hasn't decided that she wants to go, but she decided that she ought to." As stated earlier that episode, Kobayashi wanted to visit Kanna all along, yet her work took priority. However, later she decides that she also should go for Kanna's sake.

It makes me really sad to see this video again after the incident on Kyoani studio and knowing that director Yasuhiro Takemoto is gone, its so unfair. Even if theres a season 2 it probably wont have the same soul as the first

Thank you for making this kind of content. It's not only exceptionally enjoyable in its own right, but it makes me feel like I enjoyed the source even more because of the newfound appreciation. Your ability to translate the show's meaning into something that can have an impact on the watcher's world-view is remarkable. It's the kind of skill that puts someone above the competition where video essays are concerned. I'm saying this in hopes that it can act as even the tiniest bit of encouragement in your production of new content. I'll be anxiously waiting to see more.

Zorark456 that is the best compliment I can get. Every video I work on is a passion project because of how I love these series. They all mean something to me so for you to say you gain an appreciation for the source material is so amazing 😊

Really good video, maybe next time just slow your talking a tiny bit down, with little pauses in between, you give the viewer more opportunity to take in what you said.
