I finally sat down and watched this. Your tutorial is so clear and easy to understand. I haven't been doing crochet for long, just a granny square afghan years ago, and getting back to it was a bit tough. Of course, my eyesight and arthritic hands don't help. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the wonderful tutorial.

Working through the shawl, thanks for the pattern, very pretty. I would encourage folks to check your count WAY before you show us to, maybe during the V stich phase. Oh yeah, I " messed up". LOL, just goes to show, even if you have been crocheting for decades and decades, you can "mess up" a count. Keeps me humble :)

Love this shawl🥰 Yes, this is definitely a better choice for Little Man’s teacher. Since you don’t know what her favorite color is. This pattern is so much fun! Thank you Jen for deciding to put it out there. I have not finished it yet as I have to keep pausing for "LIFE" lol I was twelve rows in and decided that with the yarn I am using that I needed a bigger hook for a looser drape, so.......I am on row five. But this will get done by the end of the month for sure! I have a request for an ogre for a little boy's birthday party so again I need to put this aside. I love the shawl, but my choice of yarn was way off. Short variegated yarn does not show the beautiful stitches, but I finished the shawl with that yarn. Next one will be one color, ombre, or gradient yarn.
