Brooo. 2024. Anyway, I used to listen to Miss May I in middle school and high school. Back through 2008-2013, it was so easy listening to this angry music that it made you feel like you weren't alone. I'd walk to school and home just blasting this shit through my headphones, maybe got some hearing damage idk and idc, I work at a concert venue now. All I wanted to say was you're loved, you're special in other people's eyes, and you're not alone. This music is therapeutic. Cheers

How in the world are Miss May I less popular than other rise record bands , especially to sub-par like I see stars? Both bands are good but miss may I deserve the recognition.

1) ISS is on Sumerian, not Rise. 2) I See Stars is more popular because they are constantly changing and evolving their sound, which is incredibly present on New Demons. Miss May I seem to have only simplified their sound since Monuments and are only going downhill because of it. To compare to an "actual Rise band", OM&M is more popular because each album has progressed and their sound has developed. MMI has just taken the easy road and it's making them lose more old fans than they gain new ones.

+Cory G Actually, I think they've stayed pretty consistent compared to other metalcore bands, even deathcore. Several deathcore bands have added clean vocals and sound less brutal. Some have added electronic to their music, some sound disgustingly autotuned now. Metalcore has evolved in the past few years I must say.

yeah Levi Doesn't do High Screams and Low Bruttal Growls when Rise of the lion was released their last album was Brutal and they were called Modern version of As I Lay Dying but the album Deathless was heavy on Guitar but not much on the Vocals. Sigghhh so much change

Auctally, skrillex ( Sonny Moore ) use to be in a punk band called From First to Last. They played warped tour in like '06 I think. But yeah, before he was skrillex he was Sonny Moore in a punk band. He was the lead singer, so he did have a musical talent.

Actually Sonny Moore did play guitar on one of the songs live. Travis would take over leads and he played rhythm for some song about being a rattlesnake and guns going bang haha I don't remember the name of the song but I clearly remember Sonny jumping in the crowd while playing the guitar because he hit me with it.
