Can I just say, 2018 gowns are insaaaane! They are all so memorable. Venezuela, South Africa, Philippines, Curacao and Canada are all my favors. Also Vietnam’s yellow prelims gown is amazing.

Tamaryn Green made us South Africans so proud in 2018. Definitely one of the most iconic gowns worn at Miss Universe ever. My favourite is still Zozibini Tunzi’s final gown though. It was incredible!

I enjoy all your videos, I would love to see your reaction and analysis of previous Miss USA pageants from now and the past, as you usually do with Miss Universe, the standouts from the begining, the ones you were shocked that did not make it, their performance, why maybe they did not move on, if the winner was actually the winner, and so on. according to the national director of South Africa. They practiced a lot with the gown and shoes. the gown, as per the ND of SA is chain mail type, it got caught and unfortunately ripped on her shoes. ND was also talking about her hair for that night, they also had so much trouble buying the hair extensions in Thailand and and Miss SA was about to go on stage, but her hair extensions were still being fixed by the backstage stylist. it was a big fight for SA that night, nearly a back to back.

And according to the national director, they didn't have time to pull the gown up properly to where it was supposed to be, that is the reason why her heal got stuck which caused issues with how she walked.

The silver gown worn by Harnaaz was inspired by her home state Punjabs cultural geometric patterns .. so it had more meaning to it.. anyways appreciate ur work sooo much 💜💜💜

When I saw Miss Universe Panama's 2017 dress it reminds me of Venus Raj's silver flowy gown in MU 2010 ✨And I also think it would be so sexy if Venus's dress also has a slit, it will definitely flow much more and it will also add compliment to her long legs. ✨

Idky @the_sovereign doesn't like silver gowns. She always says Laura, Harnaaz deserved a great gown even though they just rocked the gowns. But i love silver gowns. It is safer & common to wear but it looks great on stage. However i love Tamryn's gown so much,,, i believe she is the best representative of SA in the IMG era & she deserved a crown. I wish she would have competed in an another year.

Panama's dress is really beautiful and I think it's really comfortable to wear. 😍 I agree that dress could have given more justice if the stage and lighting is similar to the final stage of MU 2017. I mean all of the MU 2017 contestants deserve a bigger and much better stage. 😔 It's a struggle for me when I want to re-watch the MU 2017 Preliminaries and MU 2017 Nat Cos show, because of that stage, it really bothers me 🙄 what's up with MUO during that time? I'm really curious can somebody please answer me? What was the reason of not using the BIG FINAL STAGE for the Preliminary Competition and National Costume Show? 😔😭
