People here commenting about Miss India's dancing skills have forgotten that firstly Miss World is not a dance competition. And if she was a bad dancer she would never get a chance to come forward and represent her country and would have been dancing like the background dancers. Jealous people here are just spreading negativity. Accept the fact that no matter how much strong your delegate was India was better than the rest, so she won. If the contest was all cooked than India would have won many more crowns in the last 17 years as Julia Morley has a special place for India in her heart which was made by our previous queens by their hard work. Manushi deserved every bit of the win and now when she has won and is already enjoying her reign stop spreading negativity and try being happy for her.

The dancer took a fast paced song and danced really slow to it. India has amazing dances, but if you're gonna be on Miss World, you have to make your country look good. A song like Nagada Sang Dhol has to be kept up with, it's a simple two step with extra moves. I'm sure the dancer was more concerned with looking good than dancing good.

@C.O. Latin America had natives too. For example, in Mexico they had the Aztecs who were known for wearing feather headdresses, and most of the Latin Americans had similar clothing as the Native Americans from the US. All of them are native. Do your own research before bashing on Latin America's culture.
@sarahfreudx4 жыл бұрын
@C.O. You also need to understand that it needs to be pure aesthetic too, since it's a Beauty competition. I was just saying ONE example, there is multiple examples of Latin America being indigenous. These white Latinos aren't using it to mock anything but it's a challenge in where the contestants have to wear something that's part of their culture. These white Latinos are just as Latinos as the people with darker skin color, whether or not they haven't done a tradition that's part of their culture, it's still a Cultural thing that their background comes from.
@1marul4 жыл бұрын
@C.O. @C.O. Cuarto lugar: ¿a dónde te lleva tu queja? ¿a dónde conduce tu postura divisionista y separatista?

@rsmith63665 жыл бұрын
That was Ballroom dancing. England has no set traditional dance, but we have many. As most of them are country/folk dances and not much suited to the glitz and glamour of the main stage, they opted this time for a more modern version of a long held tradition of Ballroom Dancing which was developed in England during the 19thc. (1800s). This would make the Waltz (what she was probably going for although solo) 200 years old in itself, and I can't see anyone complaining that anything that Mr. Darcy did would not be traditional in modern times. @@raiethefantibae
