That's a great looking gang with puppy eyes looking up at us. Good to see your post. I've been doing a little baking and with some extremely cold weather headed our way next week I'll probably be using the oven everyday! 😂I been wanting to try making a homemade pizza. Please keep that in mind and maybe you can show us how to make pizza dough sometime. I especially like the pan pizza type. Also I'm trying to over winter a few pots of Parsley and a big grow bag of Chives by keeping them in the garage. The Chives are perennial and can handle the cold weather, but I've got these still green and growing so I can cut fresh chives all winter! Oh, I also planted onion seed this week so I'm getting the gardening bug even if it will be below freezing next week. Always enjoy hearing from you, take care and stay warm.

I do have a homemade pizza crust which I see you located. I use that same recipe to make a pan pizza. For a large 9x13 pan, I use 2 cups of flour and for a smaller 8” pan, I use 1 cup. I use 1/4 cup of water and 1 tbs sugar and 1 tbs of oil for each cup. Then you generously coat the bottom of the pan with oil, spread out the dough after the first rise and cover and let it rise until it’s nice and thick. Then top and bake. I think I have lower the temp to 375 and increase baking time. Good idea on the indoor gardening. Sounds like fun. It’s in the single digits at night and low 20s up here. How is it down your way?

@@Jacksonsjob Today was super nice outside. The forecast didn't expect these temps. We got to 56 degrees here today and I worked a few hours outside doing garden prep for spring. Still have more to do but made some good progress today. The forecast is 15 degrees tomorrow night and the same on Friday and Saturday nights with highs in the low 40's. After that it warms back up a bit to more normal temps and the rain comes in. We've got a lot of winter left to go but I'll sure be looking forward to warmer days. Thanks for the pizza crust info, I'll give this a try this week. Take care and stay warm.

Same happened to us. The storm was predicted for one day, didn’t come and then the next night, it was snowing! Maybe it’s the same storm front heading toward you. It’s all ice under the snow so it’s been fun. 😳🥶. Yay for wintertime gardening!!!🧑‍🌾

Pretty much sums up my life right now. When she’s awake, which is most the day, she’s always running around. She’s happy but a bit on the hyper side so she’s constantly on the go. She’s going to be seven months old tomorrow and she’s becoming a lovely little girl. Jackson would have adored her. She’s a lot like him in many ways.

What did you think of "Sarah" deer. She adopted me and by the next day she came close to eating out of my hand and by day two, i taught her to respond to my whistle. Three-four minutes after she would come out of the forest. This is a wild deer, as wild as wild can be. I figured she wanted to say hi. Some people suggest that this could be interpreted as a spirit guide from an ancestor. Oh yeah and my four batches of bread came out spot on in the country. My neighbour got a loaf and was impressed...that says a lot since he comes from that generation where everything was homemade. He especially appreciated the bite of the black pepper and the sage.
