Great to see an update on this project! Freestyle is good if it means more updates :) With the new mechanism attaching using z movement, what would the docking station / tool holder look like for the 2.4? Keep up the great work!!!

Cool!! But what would be the difference between misschanger and tapchanger?

Tapchanger has a single mechanism for both probing and tool-changing. MissChanger separates them. The probing is done with the MGN9 rail that is attached to the gantry, and is used for all tool-heads. The tool-changing is done with 4 x 3mm pin-&-sleeve.
