It was nice of Lari to do that picnic for Elias he is taking baby steps and I'm glad Elias appreciates it both the gesture and space Lari needs to be comfortable about who he really is. I hope his friend will be as supportive and accepting

This ep shows us a comparison: check what's the difference between Lari-Ida and Ellias-Lari? When Lari and Ida started dating, those two couldn't bear separated for a second and they couldn't stop kissing. I don't see much in Ellias and Lari. So this show is still a bit conservative or maybe restricted by what the actors are willing to do.

Thanks MissF!!!! The best thing about E&L for me, is how L treats E. He really cares about him, and when they're alone he shows that E is first on his mind. He wants to know what he's thinking when they're in bed, he wants to make E feel better about the secrecy by planning the sweet and romantic picnic in broad open daylight, no less. L doesn't call E names when they're alone or talk down to him like many other gay soap couples. I appreciate that, hope it continues.

OK, guess I'm giving everyone too much credit. For one thing, you'd think both Janne & Ida would recognize Lari's voice. Both boys were making enough noise. Because the episodes are filmed 4-6 months in advance. These episodes have been shot late July/early August so it's summertime in Finland. Those coat episodes were shot in winter naturally. At the moment they are filming episodes that will air late April.
