Lily Bell was pretty nice for the 2nd coherence in P2S. Getting smacked around by party members as well as flare chip damage triggered it twice to make sure people were topped off for the big laser. Felt pretty cool finding a use for it that wasn’t as telegraphed as Akh Morn.

There are plenty of uses alongside the one you mentioned: - P3S' FoF - P4S P2 Act 2 & Curtain Call - Barbiriccia ground pounds - Any raidwide that inflicts bleed (e.g. Scarmiglione's raidwide) Further, it's a convenient 1k two press oGCD heal if nothing else. I used it for that purpose in P6S after photo cells (numbers). So I don't think its niche at all.

The EX1 and EX2 trials for EW also make great use of Lily Bell, EX1 moreso, esp wth the early multi-hits. P1S it's also nice for Intemperance, since tehre are several raidwide aoes in relatively rapid succession

No no no, Liturgy of the Bell *used* to be bad, but now that you can pop it early, its SO FUCKING GOOD and everyone is sleeping on it. Even with the lesser heal per stack, slapping it on the floor and immediately popping it is practically an oGCD Afflatus Rapture, like, yes please?? It generally have it on cooldown in raids because its just such a good AoE heal. Best use, imo, is plop it down before a raid wide damage attack, let the Bell heal the one time, then pop it. Very good. Is this how Squeenix intended for it to be used? No. Do I care? No.

Two corrections, though: -If someone's being a little baby bitch boy piss-his-pants about staying at half health on a boss with no raidwides that will kill you at 50% health, Rescue troll him into an instakill. Don't raise him. -afflatus Rapture is actually really good if you pair it with Plenary Indulgence, and raidwides are usually infrequent enough for it to be off CD whenever it happens.

You're definitely not. I once had a completely FUBAR run of Cruise Chaser when it was the scourge of raid roulettes, and it was down to me and one tank for the last 2% HP, and I killed that thing with Fluid Aura, since it still did damage in HW. So Fluid Aura saved the day for me and that party back then, and it was beautiful

Locking lilies behind the lvl 52 quest meaning you have to finish 2.X quests to have them (and all other lily buttons), even if you grinded to lvl 90 off pvp/roulettes/etc, is just silly. Really promotes the xpac jobs with minimal/no skill locks over the originals, esp if playing with Road to 80 buff.

I will say, I have found ONE instance where Cure 1 and the Free Cure procs saved the day: I was running Castrum Meridianum MINE for fun and as tends to happen when running something facerollable outside of MINE but (doing the same wall-to-wall pulls) the tank went down, so I went down, but got rez'd which meant I had 0 MP and Shroud was still on cd since I used it a few seconds before I died. I didn't have enough MP to cast Cure II so I cast what I could; Cure 1, and that plus Regen was enough to keep the tank's HP more or less stable while MP recovered and I brought the tank from teetering at about 20-30% HP w/ nonstop Cure 1 casts to full after a couple Free Cure procs to cast Cure 2, and by then Shroud was back up so I could rez the other DPS and we just barely limped through the first boss fight haha outside of that very specific instance tho Free Cure is indeed useless.

The difference between them is that WHM has less bottom to press. In casual contents like experts/dungeon they do the same thing. In normal content (savages) I don’t know tbh. In hard contents (ultimates) SCH is more fun. You have a tool kit that can you optimise while WHM is always the same thing. I’d say WHM is the WAR of healers, a brain dead job.
