Never bully someone with a disability. Hope he gets found.

Eh... I was verbally bullied by an autistic person. I let it happen as I thought it would die down and because autistic people tend to have a hard time expressing emotions like anger and may project it unto other people. At least that is what I thought was happening in my case. I never talked to her in my life, and was naturally a book worm who stayed to myself. So I really don't know what I possibly did or what I may have provoked without knowing. To this day I still have no idea why she did what she did. I let it happen for weeks and even months until I snapped and told the principal. While they appreciated my empathy towards her, they told me bullying is bullying and she should not have made me feel threatened or emotionally distressed. To this day, I still get a little shaken up recalling the pain she inflicted on me. If I never told the principal she probably could have gotten violent. I still can't forgive her, and quite frankly really pissed because she ruined most of my favourite class (transportation tech) and the semester as a whole. Honestly, anyone can be a bully and I don't think you should not bully people with special needs only. Don't bully people PERIOD. No matter if you have a disability, no matter if you have mental illness, no matter if you are angry, you shouldn't bully anyone for anything. Looks, gender, race, clothes, their housing situation, wealth or less fortunate etc. She had autism. But it gave her no right or leeway to bully and harass someone. She hurt me really bad.

@@blak3brutus229did you know those bullies are extremely insecure? They’re really sensitive and hate to be embarrassed, they care about the clothes they wear and material items, they envy almost all people especially people who are happy and able to be themselves, they most likely have suffered awful parents who have put them down, and most likely are struggling with their sexuality, the list goes on and on I wasn’t bullied in my teens but people tried bullying me as an adult, those people are the most unhappiest people ive ever come across, I can guarantee your bullying has nothing to do with you, it’s about them, the only thing you should feel is sorry for them because it’s so sad that they’re lives are pathetic and they’re going nowhere where I’m already surpassing them 😊 just do you and build your relationship with yourself, because when people bully you can see a person in pain, I honestly don’t pay any attention to it because they’re beneath me and aren’t worth my time time is precious, unless they come for me then I immediately shut it down and they know not to mess with me 😊

This is so sad. She’s clearly a mother who is trying to look out for her son. Not to baby him forever but to prepare him for life. He, like any kid, just wants to rush independence. I don’t blame him. Being bullied sucks and at that age you can’t see beyond your tiny little world, and the school is your world for a good portion of life. So not having many friends to support you can really make life seem so much harder. I hope he’s safe and found soon.

The bullying that's done in School buses is intense and needs to be taken more seriously. I don't blame the kid for not wanting to be in it anymore. I remember being in 3rd grade I transitioned mid school year and wasn’t able to learn at there speed and was behind. Mrs. shcroder and Mrs. Whitman were awful they were teachers at Rosa Guerrero elementary and they had a deep disliking for me they would yell and scold me for not knowing things I’ll never forget being yanked out of line and yelled at for getting the lowest grade in the class on a test score. Also, I personally had an acquaintance who, to me, showed signs of autism, and it was as if sketchy men on the bus could sense how vulnerable he was. 28 year-old high-functioning autistic boy here whom also struggles with social anxiety & adhd and barely can form friendships with other people my age healthily, Please stay Jason. 💝 I seriously don't understand why taking the city/school bus is a bad thing since the boy is still a child himself and that living in the Boroughs, you can practically walk almost anywhere and it's not seen as frown upon compared to here in the Southwest. It makes me feel frustrated that people would take advantage of others for a mental disability they're born with because it's something we can't control but accepting how to adapt around other people even though we can be quite too kindhearted and even generous just to be used and possibly fatally injured. I know how his mother & ant's pain because I'm an uncle of 6 nephews & nieces and my youthest nephew is on the spectrum himself and still do think about him as he's the exact age as Jason is. It just seems New York is becoming much more dangerous to live in each year from what I've been hearing on the news and I thought what happened to that 15 year-old boy Aydin whom dressed up as Spider Man got punched by one of his classmates just to trick him for wanting to make friends himself. Us aspies may be the 1% globally but we do exist out there, we're not broken, &/or a waste of space to be loved because we do our best to get by on a daily basis and this is coming from someone that has to wear earphones to ease my social anxiety while going for my walks and gets so anxious taking transportation. I'm also quite impressed on how mature the teen boy at 1:20 that was being interviewed because he looked like he can be in his early 20s because of his full beard and mustache as I can see how knows his sorroundings to protect himself and being street smart! It can be difficult for someone of my short-stature that gets mistaken for being 19 as I would lie of not being old enough to give random strangers drugs which I don't do because they know they can bribe my kindness and that's the only way I can do so in a polite manner so that I wouldn't get mugged. My virtual spirits are spreading from Arizona for Jason and his mother to be worried about him because I can tell Jason is a caring boy doing his best to get by on this earth like that rest of us and doesn't deserve to be mistreated for being born different in a unique way! #AutismAcceptance!♾️

Why didn't the school have a person who was outside making sure that all special needs kids got on the correct bus? This makes me so angry and so scared for all special needs kids. Schools MUST provide more for special needs children! Sure if a kid has an IEP he or she gets an aid for some or all classes but these kids need more than that. They are abandoned by the schools and not given proper supervision in class settings designed FOR THEM. Schools do the bare minimum!!!!

School systems don't have no more, people are to dumb to vote on to updated the school systems. That's why to many programs are being cut out of school. Special needs and other mainstream students had their own classes. Special needs was not in the same classroom. My sister was in special needs classes. I was in the other classroom. Growing up we was on the same school . When got in high school our school switch my sister to my city bus instead of riding the school bus. My sister is 38 years old she don't let her special needs stop her independent.

Why isn't this on national news? I understand his mother wanted to give her son some level of independence. But as parents, we still need to supervise and provide adequate support. I PRAY he is located soon and safe.

I surely am not a saint, but I do have empathy for others. The world moves at such a fast pace that people don't take the time to hear or see others. This boy reminds me of my son, and it breaks my heart that all he wanted was friends and independence. How can young people be so evil and distant from kindness and understanding? It only takes one person to step forward and be a sincere friend. Bullies are weak alone and are hurting too and that is why they need many to distract their hangups. Following the crowded does not make you unique but the one who steps out is the one who stands out. His mother and aunt seem to love him and I pray he comes home unharmed.

A secret social media account. Mad at his mom for not allowing to spend $400 on cologne? He is 5’4 110 pounds. Whoever man house this boy is at, please send him home to his mother? This happens quite often. Remember that story about the missing boy who traveled across state lines to move in with an older man. You have to watch these kids on apps.
