My grandad was in the same compound in paderborn as katrice and the family. He always said that he thought she went into Holland to be sold. It’s such a sad story. My mam a young child herself at the time, knew the family well and has always told me about it since a small age

I think all parents and siblings of missing children should all put their DNA on all of the family tree sites you never know if she/he was taken to be someone's child they may not even remember they were someone else and may have done the same..

I wonder if any of Kateice’s family members have done any of the DNA tests online, just in case she does one herself. They may be able to find her that way. 💗 I can’t imagine how hard this has been for her family. I pray that they find her, dead or alive. 🙏🏻💜🥺

It's pretty standard that DNA is taken by hair, blood and saliva are taken from immediate family and sometimes random family members but the question I wonder about it is I wonder if updated DNA scans are being done.

can't they figure out who was working in this shop that day? maybe someone who worked there hid the kid in the store and took it later? because I don't think the child was taken outside because that would be more noticeable. my advice to the parents is that they should ask the police to reopen the case and question the people who were working in the store that day. I hope the family reads this and does something about it. #sorryformybadenglishtoo

I just watched an interview on KZbin where a woman talked about a little boy named Ben who died in her arms. Human trafficking story. She didn’t know him but he was in the same cell with her. She cuddled him and he was peaceful when he died. Maybe not your Ben...but it was a little guy maybe 4...named Ben. It was years ago.

I know it shows a quick clip of it but I feel like it's worth saying as a former military wife commissary shopping is a little bit different then regular grocery store shopping it tends to work along paycheck lines so like you always shop on the day you get paid and you usually buy it all at one time. So commissaries or NAAFI'S (spelling?) as they are called in Britain are jam-packed on these days like a rush hour subway train is. It's hard to see how somebody would have got her out without somebody seeing but then at the same time it would have been so busy that somebody walking out with a crying two-year-old would have gone completely unnoticed. if somebody somehow managed to keep her quiet and happy on the way out it would have been quite easy to just take her hand and walk out.

What is wrong with all these people judging and laying blame and Morag Maloney goes even further by accusing the whole family. Were any of you even born in 1981? Do you any of you have a family member in the British army and live on base? No I dont believe you do. At the end of the day a little girl went missing & has never been found. Just because Katrice & her family are English does not give anyone who isnt English the right to cast judgement, accuse and blame. You should all be ashamed of yourselves while youre at it brush up on your history the world today is not like it was 1981. And not every small country is like America which is corrupt,Racist and has more peadophiles, childkillers and parents that abuse and kill their own children than any other country so judge your own backyard before you judge others!

This is just horrendous. There were many times I thought I'd lost my kid when in the park or in the mall - your heart just stops and your mind goes blank in terror. Once I lost our Dani for half an hour in the mall - he showed up on his little bike with a big grin on his face, but the guards were white with worry by then and I was terrified. You can't hold your kid's hand all the time - it could have happened to anyone.

I think it’s disgusting that anyone would blame the person looking after the child!! Children cannot be wrapped in cotton wool! Ben was playing on his grandparents property, his grandmother had gone inside for a few minutes, it was not her fault that Ben went missing!! Whenever I hear anything that might lead to his discovery, I wait and hope that this will be good news!

Very irresponsible of Catrice's aunty :(
@sarah5893
@sarah5893 4 жыл бұрын
Why is it irresponsible of her? It was 1981, child murders & abductions didnt happen then certainly not in England. As for Europe i cant say because I didnt live there but like England Army Barracks & accomadation were very small areas, everyone knew everyone we all went to the same nurseries, the same schools it was the same for our parents they all worked in the same factories. We didnt have outsiders there was no need for any outsiders to venture on to our estate, someone had their eye on you the whole time. As for the army barracks they were closed of to anyone who wasnt stationed at that barracks, the supermarket on base was run by army wifes and only used by the soilders themselves or their famlies. So no its not irresponsible for the childs aunty to let the girl follow her mom into the supermarket. So please before you judge someone and lay blame at their door think before you comment abouts things you know nothing about. You cant live in England, you cant have been born 40 years ago and you certainly dont have relatives in the army because you wouldnt have said what you said. You heartless and uncaring person!
