What was super eerie is that when she was killed, my sister lived on the same street, they both jogged in the same park, both were built the same way, and almost the same age. My sister is also fair with dark wavy hair. There were so many coincidences and it was honestly scary for us.

I totally remember thinking about Chandra shortly after 9/11...I just knew we weren’t gonna be hearing her name for a while, which was so sad for her and her family and friends but, I mean...it was September 11th... Guarantee you will scream when you get to the twist, and the very ending is truly the saddest thing I’ve ever heard. This case shaped me and every girl in my town spent time looking over their shoulders and distrusting everyone for a good while after it happened. We were all warned not to go anywhere alone, and I still have nightmares.

whenever there is a case like this that's pretty much become such and iconic story like jonbenet ramsey or like this one I feel like the people in charge don't want this case solved not just because of a "cover up" if there is one but because its so icon and gets speculated on all the time from movies and documentaries that if its solved all that goes away from marketing it as "unsolved". I don't know just something I've noticed. People get so invested in speculating that they almost forget this isn't just a crime novel or "entertainment" someone was actually harmed

Loving your channel! Since you like to do DC cases, I have a suggestion: When my husband was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, VA, he worked with a fellow sailor named Juantissa Hill. She ended up getting new orders to the Pentagon, but sadly, not too long after she moved, she was discovered dead in her apartment. Sad sad story, but I thought maybe you'd be interested in looking into it. love your storytelling!
