I don’t know why, but I always love knowing what people wanted to do for a career. I think it’s such a nice detail to add too. It’s like it’s letting them live on a little bit. Someone might say, ‘that’s what I do!’ Or ‘aww, I wanted to be that too when I was younger.’ It personalizes their story and gives them the spotlight. I just really like that detail you add. 💜

My best friends and I always made a meet up spot if we ever were to get separated at big events. Like concerts,raves,after hours parties,bars,etc. We would find a spot once arriving at make sure everyone in our group was aware of the spot. A light post,a trash can,the vehicle we rode in,a poster hanging outside,a big ceramic flower pot,a distinctive bush,something easy to remember for everyone. A meet up spot.

Being a teenager and living in SE Michigan at that time I had heard of Chelsea and all the rumors. Outside of Hollywood, Detroit metro area has the largest Halloween haunted attraction scene. We are serious about Halloween and people everywhere knew about Big Mike's parties and events. After Chelsea it just became a thing to avoid those events. I'm glad he's serving time, I just wish there could be more justice.

I understand why people's first instinct is to be absolutely appalled at the friends having left her, especially without a phone or a way to get home. I feel the same. However, I am reminded of one time me and my friend left our best friend at a party, side note she is known to bail and be impulsive / irresponsible. Me and my friend were ready to leave, and we hadn't seen our third friend in maybe two hours and were worried. We searched the entire venue top to bottom twice (for over an hour) and it was pretty empty at this point. We also asked at the coat check and shed taken her stuff, and asked any staff and security if they'd seen a girl like her, since she was pretty intoxicated. We also couldn't reach her. It was cold outside and I was worried sick she'd wandered off and fallen into a freezing river or smth, but we hoped she'd just gone back home. (It was a big city so plenty of public transit) We got home and nada, and my friend calmed me down saying she'd show up and that's just how she is (which is kinda true). Anyways we slept for 2 hours, and when we woke up she was still not back at my place. At this point I started calling hospitals and I couldn't stop crying. I called her friends and stuff too. Anyways she strolled in at like 10 am with no care in the world, a little pissed at us for having left her at the club. Her phone had died, she was cold at the club so shed gotten her jacket and stuff, and apparently had just chilled in a corner for 6+ hours with a group of ppl she met there. No idea how we didn't see her. But yeah, it can happen :D I still feel guilty tho
