SPOILERS: What Gotrek did to dishonour himself was killing a dwarfen Thane. The Thane was in charge of defending his town. While Gotrek was away Goblins attacked his town and his daughter and wife died as a result. Gotrek blamed the Thane, killed him and took the slayer oath for kin slaying.

So Grimm is an engineer with a double barrel shotgun and a chainsaw axe. That's awesome. If they ever split Ungrim from the main dwarven faction they could add Malakai as a legendary lord for the slayers and add Grimm and Thorek to the dwarves.

Thronni Ironbrow was also the rune lord of Karak Azul during the time of woes. Was a friend of the rune lord of Karak eight peaks when it was being conquered by the skaven, and he went to its aid. He was killed in the eight peaks, but this is the relationship he has to the eight peaks and belegar. Throes ironbrow is the now runelord of karaoke azul

I could see Thorex being added in game 2 - maybe dlc against Queek Headtaker? Comes with a stationary Anvil of Doom maybe? Kazador of Karak Azul vs Gorfang Rotgut would also be awesome. Bugman is a weird one - I was willing to bet money on him arriving as a LL in the King and the Warlord. Its strange we have Bugman's Rangers and not him. Maybe he might be another White Dwarf exclusive like Grombrindal at some point?

Actually the thing on Burloksons back isn't his axe. The weapon isn't present on this version of the model. The eighth edition Grimm could be assembled either with his axe in the right hand or with his finger pointing like it is done in the example shown here. Edit: Also, him and Bugman are actually heroes and not Lords.

Malakai can be added if Ungrim is properly moved to Karak Kadrin. But then again, we probably need Gnashrak as well as Golfag Maneater. Since those 2 have a huge rivalry with Ungrim.

i disagree with G+F neither of them are really fit to lead an army gotrek because hes a slayer and outside of ungrim who would ever follow a slayer (and more importantly what slayer would allow others to follow to their pointless doom felix because hes never been the most confident man (although with the dragon and the demon he might just get some supporters without his consent) malkalai i can understand because he doesnt care that hes a slayer, he just uses it as a means to an end to get shit done plus he is so competent and (relativley) famous he could at the very least get a small legion from karak kadrin the rest i agree with (especially bugman)

He wouldn't be the first to die of old age. Ungrim comes from a family that has not completed their oath. Also I kinda wish Ungrim's amry composed of more slayers - like slayer engineers. Because their entire fortress is supposed to be manned by slayers from each of their old lives' professsions

Ok, here is the thing I have never understood. Grimnir went north to fight Chaos with his twin axes. He is still fighting an unending tide of daemons, but he sent one back with his son and now the High Kings use it. If Gotrek has the other, what is Grimnir using?

Hey Bart yeah Wulfrick is great and I still can't believe they haven't added Throgg in yet. I do plan to do one for chaos but it might be one of the last ones as that will be a mammoth video cause there are so many more chaos lords they need to add.

The Inept General throgg hasn't been added because CA seems to not like named heroes. Krell for the vampire counts is a great example as he is referenced loads in the game and ppl constantly add in wight kings with Kemmler but they still haven't added him yet

I 100% disagree with Thorek being a defensive character. As a primarily Dwarfs player in the tabletop, let me give a couple details about his kit. His runic hammer is more than just anvil shaped. It's called Klad Brakak, and it ignores all protection from armor and destroys magical armor, helms and shields when he lands a hit with it. Couple that with the devastating damage potential of the Anvil of Doom and you've got a character who is as much offensive as he is defensive, if not more so. As if all that wasnt enough, he can also ground out enemy spells, increase morale and energize troops using the anvil. The only stipulation is that if he deploys with his anvil, he's more or less immobile. Older editions allowed the anvil to move but 8th does not.

Thomas Walsh if i remember correctly, during the end times, when nagash was attempting to get to valaya, he was stopped by a throng led by thorek ironbrow. When thorek's throng were defeated, he slammed his hammer down, breaking the anvil and killing himself to set off the rune of destruction ( or rune of doom or something like that ) blowing up the gates to the tomb of valaya.. for all the good that fucking did. I might be wrong though..

Thorek Ironbrow would mean a Karak Azul Lord Pack. With King Kazador vs Gorfang Rotgut as the actual Lord pack and Thorek Ironbrow as the FreeLC content. Since Thorek is the Thane of Karak Azul. Then again, we have to wait for the Tomb Kings for this one. Karak Azul Lord Pack is coming once the map expands to the south. That way Karak Azul can expand towards the Lost Karaks of the south, including the legendary Karak of Karak Zorn.

Dwarfs need things that make them unique. Thorek Ironbrow and his runes. Bugman and his healing. Grim Burlokson and engineering, and Malakai and his slayer stuff. Why not Thorek and Grim as lords and Bugman and Malakai as heroes ?

Spoiler- thorgrims axe isnt really grimnirs axe and grimnir isn't dead. Gotrek meets him grimnir kills gotrek then resurects him to take his place as the guardian of the third chaos gate in the middle mountains of the empire. Grimnir then gives gotrek his other axe and he finally finds his doom.

I think the dwarves really could have used a Runelord legendary lord to add variety, right now all of their heroes are melee oriented. Plus Runelords are my favorite dwarf Lord type. Although you seemed to think back then that they “had” to include a lot more legendary lords than they actually did lol. Would have been nice though...
