An interesting trivia bit about G1 OP and most other G1 tractor trucks and trailer combos: while the real trucks they were based on of course used dually wheel set-ups on all intermediate and rear axles, the TF toys almost always simplified things by only using single wheels there too, just like on the front steering axles. I looked this up to see if it were possible in real life too, and it is. It is possible to install double-wide tires instead of duallies. They're called super singles. So in my head canon, TF tractor trucks use super single rears, now. 😎

I beyond ecstatic for owning Bee and Cliff, I want to see either Starscream next or Prowl because the former will lead to my favorite of the three original seekers Skywarp getting a Missing Link and the latter will do the same for Smokescreen.

Cliffjumper was my first Transformer. Didn't get a Bumblebee until they did the Walmart reissue. Super excited to get these Missing Link versions. I'm saving up for Optimus, 'cause that price tag is a bit much right now.

Yes the missing link prime has rubber wheels and die cast in pretty much the same areas as the original but oddly a updated ion rifle.

I'll say Project Missing Link is looking very bright! I'm really impressed with Takara Tomy, because I never thought the original Diaclones would or could ever be upgraded with anymore Articulation without deviating their design. Well, I thought wrong, and I'm proud of them! Also "Transformers Rock'em Sock'em" sounds very tempting! Just imagine the original commercial from the 60s, kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXqviHtmqLZjrKcfeature=shared or that scene from Toy Story 2, kzbin.info/www/bejne/epm9pH-an5dpf5Ifeature=shared but with a Autobot & Decepticon Skin! Obviously there’s only certain ones they can give the Missing Link treatment to, ie: separated legs, no parts formers, no brick formers etc. Soundwave would work perfectly.

I don't expect G1 to stick around forever or anything else that Sunbow brilliantly produced. I'm just hoping we all get another great run from creators in comics and media that grew up on thr franchise and LOVE IT to give it to us and have be more than mere "fan service". After that they can give us whatever. As long as the quality and thr love is there.

I have ML Optimus, Flagship Optimus and ordered Megatron. And even I think this price is way overboard. These two are going to unalive the interest in the missing link line. $40, for bumblebee? If you look at Optimus, it was already expensive, but justifiable to many. This is just..... dont know what they are thinking.

Especially if you consider that either one of these two original items back in 1984, started out at a dollar a piece, then 2 dollars then three dollars each.
