Joey Logano was nothing short of spectacular in the 2015 season scoring 6 wins. His championship heartbreak happened in a way comparable to few others. Today, 3 years to the day after the Martinsville crash that virtually ended his shot at the title we tell his story of the 2015 season.

For all wondering why I did not include the clip of Logano spinning out Kenseth is due to the fact of copyright issues. Idk why it’s fine for one video but not this one. Anyways, enjoy the video and know that the one in two weeks will be one of the best ones yet.

For me, I'm not sure why I'm happy about Kenseth and Logano incident because I''m glad that Jeff Gordon wins for the final time at Martinsville so he can advance to the final 4 during that time. I feel sad he haven't win the Championship but still impressed how he did persevere back then

I will say this...never would I thought Kenseth will inadvertently help Gordon win by taking out Logano after the six years of beef they had (2006-2012). I was happy for Gordon taking the lead because of his mess, not the wreck itself. Would Gordon have beaten Logano? Who knows, but that helped him big time.

I get goosebumps every time I watch one of these. Good work man. Even though logano had a strong season in 2015 he was second or third best. Harvick was super consistent and probably would've won the championship if wasn't for the chase. But instead a guy that misses 50% of the season goes on to win the championship which makes the sport look like a joke. And im no kyle Busch hater. I actually like the guy but he didn't deserve that championship.

@@Huddle_House56 what actions? Spinning Kenseth out, who was blocking him multiple laps and ran him into the wall, to win a race. All of the greats have done that. You just blinded by hate for Logano no matter what he does. Oh yeah, I also attended last week's race at Martinsville, at there were plenty of people cheering for what Joey did to Truex, good ole fashion bump and run.
@justinhendel682

@@M1lesJames They cheered because it was a bump and run, not a dump and run like in 2015. Big difference there dude. You say everyone is a "hater", but people are just stating the facts: Logano dumped Kenseth and cost himself a shot at the title.

I think 2012 would be better. JJ was knocked out after the first round of the Chase in 2015, and besides the win at Texas, he wasn't much of a threat for the rest of the year. 2012, on the other hand, Jimmie Johnson was literally on his way to his 6th title before the blown tire in Phoenix. Following that up with a blown rear end in Homestead, and Jimmie came up just short.

@@Huddle_House56 sounds like you got a personal beef because your prima dona Hendrick drivers don't like being raced hard. Great video, 2015 was Logano's best season and it was a shame he couldn't get the championship. However, Logano did have 14 laps to pass Kenseth at Kansas and probably would have gotten past him ultimately as he had fresher tires and more pace so the Kansas spinning of Matt Kenseth probably didn't need to happen. On the morning of the Martinsville race, Kyle Busch warned Joey that Matt Kenseth was going to get him, I don't know if Joey took the warning seriously because if he did, he may have passed Kenseth in a corner or moved him out of the way so this wouldn't have happened. Still both Kansas and Martinsville robbed us of the chance of seeing an on form Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano fight for the championship in Miami, which may have been a fantastic race.

They should've done the park your wrecked race car rule after Edwards sent Keselowski into the stands at Atlanta. If that rule was in place, Kenseth would've been parked and Legano wins at Martinsville and probably the championship. Oh well, I'm happy Kyle got the championship, though under the original format, that would've been impossible without a points reset. NASCAR should've done the 1 PT. Per position change back in the 90's and the no wreckeded race car rule.

People saying the format sucks. Well it fucking exists so get over it. Yes, Harvick had the most consistency and would have won but since the Playoff Format exists, he didn’t. Logano obviously had the championship won. And if you ask me, I don’t think he did anything wrong. Kansas is such a stupid reason for hating Joey. He dumped Matt for a perfectly valid reason. It wasn’t even a block by Kenseth, he just ran the #22 into the wall. I don’t think any other driver would have passed Matt without wrecking him. And you gotta love that Matt can’t even admit to flat out taking Logano out of the race and championship at Martinsville. He “blamed it on a flat right front tire.” Matt Kenseth was a total piece of shit in 2015 and I’m so glad he was out of his ride for Gibbs.

Richie Osborn agreed, can’t even begin to fathom all that they went through. Just the fact they still wanted to race was amazing all in itself but to show up the next week and win was incredible.

He tried the fuel mileage game but mcmurray's engine blew up with 5 laps to go and biffle unfortunately failed to win

how about Dale Jr. 2014? he had 4 wins and was in the top 6 in points every week until he wrecked at Kansas, including 3 instances of being the solo points leader during the regular season or 2015, because controversy robbed him of a chance at Homestead in 2015 as well. if Harvick pits like not a moron and Jr. wins Talladega, then still wins Phoenix, Jr. gets a much better points finish (albeit 4th vs 8th, but he makes it in over MTJ)

Dale Jr has never been robbed of a Championship. That is because he never truly was a championship driver. While he was good, he wasn't great.

This was definitely a good year for Logano. He deserved either a championship, or a final 4 spot. But of course, *P R A W B L E M S* struck.

The only person to blame for Logano losing is himself. What goes around comes around after all.
