What a great trip. Starfront seems the hotspot to be. Awesome program!

Yes it was a fun trip. It became clear to me a year ago that I was not getting maximum value from my astro gear purchases. Not being able to image from my backyard I was not getting enough work out of my two telescope setups. Going into SFRO has unlocked additional value from those purchases. The value of the SFRO solution will vary based upon imager and what each imager enjoyes most about this hobby. Some like to be hands on. I was hands on and now I just want to focus on quality data collection and processing. It will be interesting to see if I made the right decision.

Thanks! I'll sit down when I get back from a trip to Rancho Mirage I'm leaving for today with my wife Laurie and start imaging based upon the moon's relation in degrees to my targets. I still have a few more steps to further automate my NINA sequences and I und3erstand there may be information SFRO has on roof status that I may be able to incorporate into my sequences to stop imaging if they close the roof. Much to learn yet but I'm happy I got my scopes down there and I've validated the darkness of the sky.

Thanks Mark. I just mailed you a link to the Cygnus Loop data so you can work with it if you like. I'm looking forward to getting a whole night in for both scopes. I'm traveling down to Rancho Mirage with Laurie for about a week to watch some professional pickleball matches. So it will be next week weather permitting before I really get into imaging.

Congratulation and glad you made it back before the snow/ice in Dallas/Austin Area. I'm not sure of star-front impact but later this week will be interesting in Texas/Ok area

Thanks! I had concerns using the more northern route to return home but we got lucky weatherwise. We both wanted to see different scenery for the return trip. I did see on the Starfront discord they were only going to work critical tickets last night due to the cold. Makes sense.
