The IMF keeps blaming Ethan for their f’ups (at least 6 times), disavows my man and either hunt (no pun intended) to arrest him or kill him and stick his aunt and uncle with trumped up charges. He ends up clearing his name, saves the world t but then he keeps pulling chump moves by clocking in the timecard like they’re the only secret US agency he can collect a check from.

Correct, the Kiev mission was the opening scene. Also MI - The Train is in London and travels under the English Channel, via the tunnel, to France RN - The Syndicate were already operating before Huntley closed down the IMF. Fallout - Says Lane activates the bombs in Fallout, but that was Walker.

I saw DEAD RECKONING Part One on Friday night with my son. It was really good. 7 out of 10. FALLOUT is still the best of the series, AND the greatest Action film ever made, in History.

Agree Fallout is my favorite and the best of the franchise but Dead Reckoning is the second best of the franchise! If it didn't started as slow as it did I think it could have been on the same level as Fallout or even better. I gave it a 9/10

I know folk still give Cruise heat from some quarters re: M:I -1 having probably the most interesting cast, killed in the first half-hour. And it has to be said the movie is the worse for it. The second one doesn't make a whole lot of sense but good stuff from Dougray Scott as the villain of the piece. After that the set pieces seem to overtake the plot points. However, kudos to Cruise and co. for making the series entertaining and hopefully encouraging folk to go back and re-discover the original tv series which kept us riveted when we were kids.
