Masterminds tells real crime stories about amazing deceptions that brilliant criminals use to pull off seemingly impossible crimes. This new half-hour series combines the mystery of a "whodunit" with the thrill of a "howdunit," revealing the extraordinary world of elite bank robbers, escape artists, impersonators, kidnappers, murderers and frauds.
Jerry Clemente was a brave and decorated officer on the Medford, Massachusetts police force. He was also the mastermind behind the most audacious bank heist the country had ever seen.

Gets em every time my friend. I was caught in 2007 for buying some stolen ATVs. Chief investigator saw my 70 Camaro and I said it's yours if I walk, then his partner walked in and he said s**t, turn around and put yours hands behind your back. I was 10 seconds away from freedom. Goes on ALOT. Thank God I don't do anything anymore but run a custom body shop!

40 years typically means the max time. 20 years he's be eligible for parole in most cases. He got out in half that time for good behaviour inside the prison. 10 years. He'd still be in parole for 30 years after he got out. Then again, parole can let you off early too if he stays out of trouble.
