Has it got too much or not enough nitrogen in the soil though? They change colour, don't you know...

adding metals to the soil changes the colours. add a bit of old angle iron and see the colours. my dad used old pennies too.

@@stevekelly5166 more acidic soil the darker the blooms but they can grow in either, you'll just get white to pale pink blooms tho
