In case anyone needs the info for the weight of the points, I weighed them as follows: Sniper black Micro Grip 32mm = 1.18g Sniper black Titan Pro 32mm = 1.20g Laser Plus Fan Mosaic 38mm 1.07g Laser Plus Multi Logo 38mm 1.06g

Ive just received the mission 32mm sniper micro grip and fitting them to my designa dragons 95 3 ring grip darts ....fitted like a glove some force to get them in but they are flush and they fit better than my target firestorm pro diamonds which fell out of the barrels so far they are holding up extremely well and I have to say I prefer them to the targets .....they seem to have slightly more material to go into the barrels than the targets as well ...all things good I intend to use these in my darts from now on durability will only come with constant use over a few months I'd say ..however these already seem better quality than the storms ..excellent review Darren as always

Thanks Tony, those micro grip ones really stick at times, been throwing the darts as I had in the video, the Predators, three different points and every time I get the micro grip one I nearly wrench my shoulder pulling it lol I think its definitely best to twist and pull with those. How long they will remain grippy though is another matter :)

Thanks Darren, was waiting for this review, as always you’ve settled any doubts I had. On some sites, the Sniper points are being shown to have 32mm full length, not from the cone only, I thought this might be wrong and you’ve just proved it is, some people are going to be disappointed, very confusing, the picture that shows the lengths needs modifying and needs to be clearer, good job we have you, cheers again 👍

Had noticed this too on darts corner website where they indicated the entire length of the sniper points the as either 28mm or 32mm. Thanks, Darren for making this clear.

I tried the sniper micro grip and as soon as I tried them I regretted my purchase. I’ve got enough to think about without being put off trying to rag these loose from the board. They really grab firm. Replaced with the titan pro (smooth version) and am much happier with them.

@@DartsReviewChannel It absolutely is. Extreme close ups of the material, balance sheets with different set ups, measurements of the grip´s different grip patterns...this channel is almost perfect when it comes to objective reviews of darts and accessoires. So glad I found this channel.

At the price of £3 per set I couldn’t resist the multi logo. The are great just the right amount of grip for me. I’ll be interested to see how the etching wears though. Great work Mission and nice review Darren. 🎯👍🏽

Nice, ordered two sets (one set of Micro Grip Black & one set of Ripple Black) all 32mm. Gonna test them to see if they have enough grip for my two fingers. Normally use Harrows Ridge or Target Fire Precision points ;-). Thanx again for the good review

was hoping you'd try and break the sniper points...I like the look but play on cement floors on occasion...if anyone breaks one message me ...curious how easy they break and at what point (easily removable or too close to the barrel?)

Thanks! As mentioned in video the Laser Plus had about the right level of force and the Sniper went in a bit easy on the darts I used but still stayed put.

Great video Darren, I've been thinking about getting new points for my darts, it's just the tool costs quite a bit of money for what it is. I like the look of the micro grip points 👍🏼🎯

Cheers! I think its one of the reasons Target came out with the SP points, so people did not need to use a tool, I can see the benefit of that idea for sure, just wish I had more faith in the Swiss points being strong enough not to break though. But if you think you will be changing points fairly often its worth getting a repointer tool :)

@@DartsReviewChannel I've heard on a couple of other darting YT channels that the swiss points are stronger than when they first came out. Just need to see more pros using them I think to see how long they last during big tournaments. I don't think I would repoint that often, so it wouldn't be worth getting the tool. 👍🏼🎯

@@ashleystone4266 yes I said they were supposed to be stronger now than when they first came out, I was probably first to mention it as I brought the issue up with Target some time ago. I think its a neat system and works well but I was always just wary of that built in breakage spot and the feedback from people having so many points break.

well as I always say I am not really into changing points myself as the standard black coated points always work fine for me. These Mission points seem decent though, I have not heard anyone complain about them so far. Strongest points are probably the Voks Tornados though.

not tried them but probably, if its too big you can file it if its too small you can add super glue or loctite

Harrow points are a bugger get out, I replaced my chizzys with target gold points and they went in easy but they haven't fallen out

Yeah I almost gave up! Had no strength left and I am a lot stronger than I look but had to leave them a while to recover lol never known a set so hard to remove points!

I don't know if its because I started playing long ago or I was out of the loop.when I started on the darts pages I was amazed at all the posts about broken points. I never had a problem with standard dart points and never broke one. I didn't understand until I realized it was all these replacement poitnts that were snapping. Will stick with standard points

not tried them to be 100% sure, its always a bit of a lottery when fitting points from one brand to anothers darts, in theory they should be fine but sometimes you will find slight differences.

Hi, Darren. Hope all is wellJust looking for some advice. I have the mission sniper points and wanted to install them in my Clayton darts. The first point went into the first Clayton dart and was nice and flush. The 2nd and 3rd points and darts won't go all the way. There is about 1mm or maybe less between the dart lip and the point cone. Is there any way I can sand down or make the points fit flush with the dart lip?

Yeah I think that is the only way you are likely to do it. Maybe a fine needle file might be best option?

hard to say without trying it, problem with points and barrels is they are not always the same dimensions of point and hole

Dont think so , if im remember well Mission is 2.33 mm diameter and Unicorn points are 2.34 mm but might can be used with glue .
