CloudKill is a pretty fun SMG, and it's great it's more available because it's a SLOG to get a max level one.

It's pretty cool that they added it to the list for the machine. Especially since it's one of those weapons that even when you go from Normal to TVHM on a character, you're probably most likely not at max level by the time you have to do this mission.

The main place that I've found it to be most useful, has been at Jack's Casino. Outside of that, it's really been pretty rare that I find a place to use it on M11. Even so. On M11 there are many weapons that could outclass with ease. To be fair.

It's worth the trip, I'd say. It's not the easiest thing to always pick up for a character as most Valut Hunters are between lvl 30-40 by the time this mission comes around on TVHM difficulty.

Can the cloud kill roll with an anointment?

Yes. On TVHM lvl 72, the Cloudkills in the machine, for me, all rolled with different anointments.

There aren't any Assault Rifles in the machine this week. But if you'd like to find any of the loot in the video, then there is a section for it in the video. Either way, have yourself a great weekend.😊

Sadly cloudkill is only good in non-mayham mode.

I'm not sure if that's possible, other than you joining a friend (or as a guest to yourself) at the point where it's awarded as a mission reward. When you go to the Black Market Vending Machine with too low a level, it can end up being completely empty for you.
