MCTS uses to have Orion Buses. These Orion Buses equipped with Cummins L10 Engine & Voith D863 transmission, and they began on service in November of 1990 & January of 1991 the fleet numbers was 3700-3816. The first 15 buses loaded with Wheelchair Lifts is on 3802-3816. In 2003 they sold 9 Orion Buses with Wheelchair Lifts to Kenosha Transit. Then later in 2004 the Orion Buses when out of sevice some still running for School Routes. The last 2 buses uses to be at Juneau HS is Route's 10 & 35.

I ride them quite a bit and they don't hurt my ears. However the new D40LFRs (ISL/D.864.3) with the new MAN axels hurt my ears, however they are not as loud as they were when they were new.

These had to be the older versions prior to 1990 the inside are different and it is rare for front interior top cap to be painted white .

They were exactly like the older Vs (89-93) except with different end caps.

So are those Dennis 11m double-deckers with this propulsion drive in Hong Kong. But this will soon become history as these buses are only Euro-I compliant and will soon retire.

The old Cedar Grove route. Our 1991 &1992 model were retired in August of 2008. Alot of the drivers wish they were still around. They were tough buses.
