Mississippi - 50 States - US Geography / US History

Have you been to Mississippi? It's fun to spell - and fun to visit! Mississippi became the 20th State of the Union on December 10, 1817. Jackson is the capital of Mississippi, as well as the largest metropolitan area.
Mississippi is named for the giant Mississippi River, which forms the state's western border.

I live in Mississippi and I thought how much more to the state there is and I have been to the birthplace of Elvis Presley and I even have a kid in my class that is related to him and my grandmother has even met Elvis when he was alive and in kindergarten we did a Elvis Presley theme graduation. But it’s kinda funny how they didn’t even mention Morgan Freeman and him saving the bees where he lives in Mississippi.
