Don’t diminish Fred’s talent, “Jesus” didn’t help (god isn’t real, if he did without was he doing helping one black man play guitar but leaving Fred and every other African American to be abused by whites?) Fred worked hard to make his great music.

Letting the guitar "talk" is a blues old school mainstay....whether saying the phrase or completing it...I hear you Fred. FWIW, after the Stones recorded "You Gotta Move," they eventually sent Fred a 5 figure check and he bought a gas station...
@davehuffmaster48404 жыл бұрын
I believe some good music come outa gas stations. Alley Opp was written by some guys working out of gas station. The station was located at Hollywood and Agile. Thus the band name was "The Hollywood Argiles" it was a big hit!! "He rides through jungle tearing limbs off trees Knocking great big monsters Dead on their knees

never heard Fred with bass and drums b4 - its excellent cos it allows him to be a lot more lyrical on the guitar without having to keep the rhythm going as well

In the summer of 1967 I was teaching Vacation Bible School at our church on the side Chicago west of Polaski and south of Roosevelt. Luckily I was assigned a 14 year old female assistant. The most beautiful, gorgeous, affectionate, wonderful, loving member of the congregation. My first girlfriend. Every

spiritual, gospel, sacred The categories in American ethnic music have very ragged boundaries with no consensus and no "higher authority." As some language scholars say, "There are no definitions. There's only usage." The categories at the beginning of this post are usage.
