Hi, Chase. I believe they go back to their corps style of playing and blow their SWAC competition away. If you saw them years ago when they were corps style the percussion section was very good.

Yes sir, they were. In the 1970s, 80s, and some of the 90s, MVSU's percussion section did indeed employ a corps style of play. I wish there were tapes of them playing on Youtude so that people could see them play. They were very good. I remember seeing them doing that time when they would come to Jackson to play JSU in football.
